I've never even looked in the general direction of TikTok, mainly because I have this biased vision that only annoying kids and teens are using it looking for attention, and unlike our friend Amanda, I have literally zero interest in kids/teens. I'm a bitter grown ass adult I guess.

Now that some of you mentioned about adults also using that platform, makes sense that most of them would be creepy and cringe, because I can't see why a person over 25 will still find amusement in spazzing around on camera. Maybe if you're a cosplayer or has any other visual hobby, but if you're an average adult, I can't see why you would stick yourself in TikTok culture like this.

Amanda is trying too hard to get into any hype/internet culture/fandom just to say she's part of something. Which would be kinda sad if she wasn't a fucking child molester on a power trip whoring herself to neckbeards on Deviantart.

The arm and the hands are the worst for me, fam. In the 2019 one, she got the arm's anatomy sort of correct, the 2020 piece is just FUBAR. An arm doesn't look like that. And the fingers? Horrible.

I'm super tempted to do a one of those ''red lines'', where you redraw the correct anatomy over the fucked up parts. I'm especially intrigued by her skull. I did a mental red line over her skull and there's no proper room for her brain. Like, the forehead/chin/cheekbones ratio is all fucked up and it would be acceptable if she was a beginner but she has been drawing for the past TEN YEARS or so!

It looks like she spent too much time screaming about her faulty drawing tablet and not enough time actually improving. Unsurprisingly she blames it in the description for the change in style.

The absolute worst part of that drawing is the head shape and size. Its too small for the neck-waist length (making the character look freakishly tall or that the distort option in photoshop was used in the wrong way) and the facial features are squashed together to fit. Also, the body shape is way worse, with the character's excess body mass moved to the back, making it look like she has a hunched back or some sort of abnormal growth (or mis-use of photoshop's distort function again). The center of the neck should be aligned with the center of the hip unless the character is bending over, but they aren't and the head looks like it is positioned to the left of her hip. That unnatural "bulge" isn't her butt or hips - if it was supposed to be her butt it should have been curved more, and her hips would have bulged out less.

I could pick holes in this picture all day, but it seems Amanda was trying to reflect her (supposed) weight loss in a redrawing of her character. Only that in an attempt to do so she completely messed it up.

ETA: As a minor, Amanda also got into some trouble for sexually assaulting a younger girl that she was friends with, but I don't believe the specifics of what she actually did were ever uncovered. The sexual assault was uncovered much earlier in the thread, but it shouldn't be forgotten either.

I don't think anybody is annoyed at her because intrusive thoughts, but the fact she acted on them, as you said. Worse, she told everyone online about it as if talking about it made her look better. But since she choose to let everyone know about her thoughts, she can't blame people when they point out her abusive behavior.

The MSpaint version has more believable looking water than the redraw. Amanda's inability to draw hasn't just remained stagnant, it's actually gotten worse in certain regards. :story:
