Honestly, I'm almost happy for Kate. The only thing I'd like more is if it was solely in her name so that when she can finally get free of him she still has a place to call home.

How much do they make on their patreons monthly? Like, 3k? That's a little more than a couple working full time minimum wage jobs pulls in. It's kinda pathetic that furries are so used to being poorfags and artists in the fandom have such low self esteem and shitty prices that making between 1-3k a month is considered 'killing it'. A prevalent delusion in the fandom that Jason is taking to the extreme is that popularity= success for artists, and making slightly above minimum wage is the best they can do and makes them superstars. In the wider world artists that pay their mortgages and lead financially sucessful lives are artists no one has ever heard of because these artist just go straight to publishers, agencies, art directors, etc. with their portfolios because those are the places that pay actual successful wages. Those artists are smart as hell and learned a long time ago that popularity contests online and commissions for the general public weren't going to get them noticed by the people and companies that could actually pay them decently. There are like, 5 furry artists I can think of that actually make beaucoup bucks off of the fandom, so why people keep thinking furry porn is easy and good money is beyond me. Unless you are top tier in skill level you're better off not fucking with the fandom scene at all if you want your art to be financially sucessful. At that point you either stay because you genuinely enjoy drawing the content you do and get paid actual industry wages due to your skill level or you stay because you can't handle an actual grown-up art job and know your work isn't up to par for one.
