Just out of curiosity, how do you account for the fact that I encounter women who are independent-minded, willful and creative at about the same rate that I encounter men with those characteristics? Would you think I've likely been indoctrinated somehow?

I don't know how I'd account for this fact. What I know is that used to believe so myself - that I was meeting these at the same rate. But this changed after I met my first real girlfriend in 2009. She was one of the most brilliant people I thought I knew but turned out to be retarded scum. My point being, once I'd get closer to these "great" women (not just her) I'd find them to be scum while these wasn't the case with men I consider great.
