But many don't even choose. They kick and scream a little and later love them for it. Like I said, I have seen this happen all the time.
This requires you to get the fuck out of your parentally-owned house or research, so calling a lie here.
nope. she doesn't have to allow him anything, it's just that her rape is a non-event the law has nothing to do with.
Most legal codes would disagree with you, especially the legal codes you have a stiffy for, like ye olde Renaissance or Medieval laws. Hey, let's look at a couple:
Early Venice, 13th Century:
Rapists would have to pay the equivalent of a dowry or get their eyes ripped out. This covered women in all situations. While it is true that its enforcement was half-assed at best, it is one of the big laws stated in the Merchant Republic's Legal Code. Most rapists were beaten quite a bit though as according to the article.
England, 14th Century:
While often dismissed by the judges, the stipulation was indeed that a man who has raped a woman was to be executed. A few rape cases even went so far as to properly do that.
Viking Law, Iceland
The rapist or attempted rapist was outlawed, meaning that you could kill them with impunity.
