Apparently Jesse feels "powerful" when he uses Dax and 80's Girl's real name. The biggest issue with the show though was twofold, they had too many people talking over eachother and Ralph was either too drunk or too trollshieldy to realise that just trying to protect Dick the whole time was the wrong move. He had Jim on ffs, should have let him take the reigns and ask questions of both Dick and Jesse, with Dame laughing like a goblin and making jabs at everyone in the background.

Absolutely correct. The sloppy dolphin talks over any points Jesse may have had, and I really wanted to hear Dick and Metokur respond to them.

EDIT: In the most recent episode, Dick complains that no one is ever happy except for brief spikes. This is, of course, what one would expect to hear from a vapid, hedonistic person who has nothing in their life but the pursuit of fleeting and diminishing pleasures.

But that said, his hilariously sappy texts are nowhere near on the level of what I would call simping, because evidence strongly suggests JLH was completely into it, not stringing him along and toying with him at all.

You can go into a hostile environment, be shouted down and not get all of your points across, and still come out of it looking like someone that tried to argue a solid point in good faith. I'm thinking of making a more detailed list of the things that actually embarrass Dick, but here's what I have so far:

-His own content. Dick "had to" get drunk to watch the Dr. Phil tapes because he was expecting it to be a humiliation conga line for him. He is happy to put his most intimate thoughts out in public, but is deeply ashamed at the prospect of hearing it repeated or played back. Unfortunately, his opponents are generally very bad at listening comprehension, and you're going to need to exploit this skill to take advantage of his weakness

-Drugs. I don't think JLH knows how spot-on she was in her Medium article. Him making fun of her amphetamine addiction on Reddit was probably a form of projection. Even though he talks about his alcoholism and opiate consumption on his show, it actually hurts him when you turn it against him.

-This one is just a theory, but his childless hedonistic lifestyle is probably starting to bother him as he gets older and watches his sister's kids grow. Be sure to tell him that his son would probably be heavily autistic, like George or Chris the Kiwi.
