She looks borderline underage thoughThe internet and 4chan both used to be barriers for "regular idiots" from being able to access and post on the site at least a decade ago. You had to be fairly tech savvy and also know about internet subculture. This created certain barriers, which mean only certain types of people would show up, which is why the quality of 4chan was high initially, but keeps dropping down lower and lower. The internet is now easy to access and 4chan is one of the most known websites on the internet, so any complete exceptional individual can access it and spew his mental diarrhea at everyone.
Many people in the early days thought that the internet would bring a new age of enlightenment and information exchange, and when the regular majority of the population got hold of it, it turned into the local goodwill bin.
On the upside though, the internet does allow you to explore just how exceptional people are. The girl at the counter down at the local shop has her facebook profile photo as her in her underwear.

Nowdays, redditors make up 3/4's of the Site's Total Population that only browse three boards at most. It's not all bad, some oldfags are still around on /i/ and /qa/, like last week I encountered a board-tan comics thread where there was lots engagement going on.The internet and 4chan both used to be barriers for "regular idiots" from being able to access and post on the site at least a decade ago. That girl looks a little bit underage.

More like 15 years ago. 10 years ago it had already been taken over by gaiafags, furries, bronies and trannies. The internet and 4chan both used to be barriers for "regular idiots" from being able to access and post on the site at least a decade ago. Meh. Even if she is, she's clothed. Teenage girls post bikini pics in public all the time.Ummmmmm...where the fuck did you get that photo from?

Something about that one, in particular, looks especially bare.Meh. Even if she is, she's clothed. Teenage girls post bikini pics in public all the time.
True. But it's an illusion, therefore even if looking at it is creepy, it's legal.Something about that one, in particular, looks especially bare.
If you think that's bad, /po/ has threads from 2016 still up.And now for something way out of left field, a 5-month old living thread about feeding cats salami from /an/ - Animals & Nature:

lurk moarI might need the input from some oldfags here, but how far back does racism go on 4chan? Like name me some of the memes. Because from what I've read, most racism used to be exclusive to /b/ and was only ironic. Hence the Hal Turner raids and the Habbo Hotel raids that were done on the part of perceived racism from an admin. The first actual white supremacist to introduce himself to the imageboard community was Kimmo IIRC and he wasn't on good terms with anybody. Like I said, 99% of it was ironic and as for the 1% that was legit, they got marginalized or otherwise ignored at the time.
It's hard to tell who was a legit racist and who was pretending to be one for amusement. There were plenty of racist memes around from the start but like you said, most were ironic.I might need the input from some oldfags here, but how far back does racism go on 4chan? The Mountain Dew flavor Hitler Did Nothing Wrong dates to 2012 so like everything else it's a product of the early 10s internet. Coincidentally, 2012 is when SJWs started to really take off in society and the media. It's hard to tell who was a legit racist and who was pretending to be one for amusement. I get the impression /pol/ flavored racism started gaining popularity around 2013 or 2014. I can't think of any meme that started it, but that's when I started running into people unironically talking about stuff like white genocide.
4chan can be a good place to post images related to your niche interests related to the appropriate board.I might need the input from some oldfags here, but how far back does racism go on 4chan? I sort of wonder if 4Chan radicalized in tandem with the changing cultural landscape? The Mountain Dew flavor Hitler Did Nothing Wrong dates to 2012 so like everything else it's a product of the early 10s internet. That it became a refuge for people seeking edgy anti-political-correctness - most of whom were young Obama-voting fence-sitters who were being contrarians, who then started popping redpills and falling down rabbitholes?
