TGWTG Allison Pregler / Obscurus Lupa / Movie Nights - The vindictive leader of #ChangeTheChannel, GOTIS personified, vendetta against The Cinema Snob

The anthropomorphized cinema food and stuffed owl look more lifelike. She looks like a mannequin with makeup on it (applied by someone with hooks for both hands whose only reference point for how makeup should look is circus clowns).
I said that she looked human, not that she looked alive.

So, for his 600th episode, Linkara reviewed Spider Man: Sins Past, a.k.a. the storyline where it's retconed that Gwen Stacy banged Norman Osborn and now the resulting kids want to kill Peter. The main running "joke" (for lack of a better word) in the review is that there was suppose to be a parody of the story playing out throughout the video, but the other reviewers were so disgusted by the story that they refused to do it. As a result, there's only three cameos from other reviewers: Viga (his wife, so really easy to get), SFDebris (who only does voice-over, so again, easy to do) and, of course:

Because even when she's suppose to want nothing to do with this, Allison just can't resist that extra exposure.
You know what's funny? I think Lupa only was down with this because Linkara disavowed CA and became just as much of a hater as her. Also, I can't help be be reminded of how ERod (another ex-Producer) basically said mega crossovers are pretty much dead because of what DOug Walker put them through (https://kiwifarms.net/threads/eric-rodriguez-e-rod2010-the-blockbuster-buster.27795/post-6107005) and how Lupa was cool with being in ERod's review of Justice League, which ERod thinks is his big way of showing he's better than Doug. Do you have the review she did with NChick, Honor and Glory? I've either got the review itself, their commentary, or both on my old harddrive. I wouldn't normally bother finding it but if it pisses her off it's worth it...

I don't but it if you want to send it to me you're more than welcome to. Feel free to contact me either on my gmail or Discord.

Of all current or former TGWTG I imagine Doug Walker has the most comparatively functional social life. His co-workers are local, he works with his brother and dad and is married. Brad Jones is probably a close second since he's tied to that circle. They also still regularly attend conventions to interact with their fans.

Every other TGWTG name I can think off was in Bumfuck, Nowhere making videos in their living room with no local friends or peers, and it seems like most of them are still that way. It's probably why they were attracted to TGWTG's illusion of community. Spoony for example is yearning to turn back time these days. I'm sure Lupa, for all her sound and fury, has lingering nostalgia too.

It’s kind of sad how after all of this, Doug Walker looks relatively decent despite his unenviable position compared to #ChangeTheChannel.

Part of the reason why she's so blangry is that she feels betrayed and cheated out of her clique, no doubt.

That raises an interesting point, does Allison ever alude to friends that she has irl, living in her area and doing things with her?
Now that I think about it, the only time she you see her doing things with other people was with Brad or Phelous, and she and Phelous haven't done a crossover in a long time. She had twitted about going on trips with other people, but you'd think she would post pictures of it.

Walker's still an idiot who shows a fundamental lack of knowledge on how movies work and at this point, you can infer that the man has legit memory problems with how often he forgets things in his reviews. He's the Egorapter of film review.

That being said, by all accounts his worst attribute was being spineless and a yes man for his brother and Michaud, and that he was otherwise a fundamentally good person who got in over his head. That last part is something that after the last few years, not a lot of the CTC people can claim given how often they're petty assholes.

I think by all accounts, Doug was the 'talent' with no really 'business'/'HR' saavy. That's why he gave that job to Rob, Michaud and at one point, Holly. He's the face of the company, but he has no desire to be involved in the running of it.

I remember back when CTC was starting, the complaints were aimed more towards Rob and Mike, since they were the ones running to show. And I think even they professed that Doug had little to do with CA's management, with some of them saying that Doug's not the real villain in this scenario. Then as time went on, they started bitching about Doug too, when initially their grievances were with the upper management; at worst, Doug was a severely incompetent director. To me it seems Linkara, Allison, and ERod are motivated by jealousy and a desire to be bigger than Doug; hell, Linkara's flat out called himself a better director.
