Forgive me if this has been discussed, I didn't see it mentioned in this thread when I looked. Has Naomi ever bothered to explain how VICE reporting on her sexuality is super duper dangerous, yet her openly talking about it on her twitter feed is somehow safe and fine? Naomi thinks she's gonna be unpersoned for being a lesbian in China, but she's as lesbian as your average MtF aka straight as a pole. Yeah man, doesn't make sense. Everyone who spends a substantial part of their lives online will, eventually, let bits of their personal life slip out, even when trying to be completely anonymous. There's no way you wouldn't put at least a little of you and your personality into what you type. Only if the person typing isn't the one they're pretending to be. Which puts the theory of a man being actually the one who writes her posts as kinda valid.
Only a person pretending to be other online would be so vague about ''their'' personal life. Like, I can even pretend to be some famous public figure while gathering all the info I can about them, but there's so much I'll true know about them to be able to pull a decent impersonation of them for so long. Eventually people will notice something is off.
