I remember seeing both of those links (and others) but remembered wondering if there was anything that came out of her mouth saying that she actually wore one. I knew she suggests it to ppl, and she said yes to a gift but couldn't find anything concrete of her saying that she wore one until this clip. Everything else is just her say she didn't ever wear one. Theres nothing going on atm so the details are small but relevant in terms of documented lies. I took screenshots of a whole 40-something comment Instagram thread before it was deleted by Chloe. Apparently she blocked the person who was asking the tough questions in this highlight from responding after a certain point. The earlier parts of the thread are mostly fans spearing about how annoying people are who find things like mocking an accent and appropriating a culture racist so I'm not going to post it unless anyone cares to see.

How does that work?‽ Not being able to see/hear are not personality traits. They aren’t something that would have “broken off” due to trauma ....

The idea is that it's the brain not processing something well/processing it in a different way due to the switch. So blindness would be due to the brain not processing the eyesight while being in that ego state, but there being nothing wrong with the eyes themselves. I dont know if that actually makes sense but hey.

I've said it before in this thread but: I feel like there should also be backlash from the sexuality-fandom. Like, aren't they always saying that "sexuality is innate" and that "it's not caused by upbringing or trauma" etc. and therefore can't be changed: you're just born that way (I agree by the way).
Then how are they all okay with this girl claiming all of her alters have different sexualities? That says it's not innate but caused by environmental factors, which is exactly the opposite of what the sexuality-fandom claims, and yet they think it's so quirky and cool and wow brave that this girl has balding gay men and goth lesbians in her head? It doesn't make sense, hopefully more people will see that just like with the race thing.

This is a fairly common belief amongst certain fake DIDTubers. If I remember rightly, she has fluctuated in her stance on that.

Conversion disorders can present due to trauma, but not in this way she portrays it. An example would be someone with PTSD who was locked in a dark closet may during flashbacks find themselves blind. It is very rare to see this happen and requires neurologist to diagnose.

She really seems to be copying the most media enduced symptoms which is a red flag for therapists on malingers. DID is a disorder of keeping someone safe from severe repeated abuse, people with it would not be clickbaiting it on youtube.

It's something I would not be surprised if she learnt in first year psychology. Not PL but I have done first year psych and you tend to learn off-topic disorders that just come from chats in the lectures and research. No doubt she heard it said once and squirreled it away for later.

I’m a little late, but I wanted to chime in about the echolalia thing. I’ve come to believe, after looking into the sources for Chloe’s catatonia video, that it is likely she only read two pop-sci articles on this subject and then pilfered the rest of her sources from their citations sections.*
One of these articles is from minddisorders.com, and it mentions echolalia and echopraxia once in a very simplified way (bolding mine):
“Extreme negativism, elective mutism (choosing not to speak), peculiar movements, and imitating someone else's words or phrases (echolalia) or movements (echopraxia) may also be part of the symptomatic picture.”
My guess would be that she misinterpreted “imitating someone else’s words or phrases” to mean “imitating the sound of someone’s words or phrases,” but that’s obviously conjecture. I believe that it’s been said before, but it appears that regardless of where she got this idea in her head, she took a sliver of information and distorted it to fit her needs.

Since the 'dissociative personalities' are facets of an entire personality anyway, It makes sense that some personalities will have a heavier preference to a specific gender if the person is like bisexual or something. Not entirely a "different" sexuality, but I think it's reasonable that alters have a different preference that still relates to the overall sexuality of the whole, and would say they're a certain identity entirely (i.e If you're born bisexual, there'll be alters who prefer women and alters who prefer men.) Not sure about people claiming to be dykes and having alters who are attracted to men, but you could probably hand wave it off as not actual attraction but a result of sexual trauma.

I could be wrong, because I don't like using social media myself, but I believe you can block certain keywords on Youtube and Instagram and the like. So maybe she just has a filtering system for comments that are nasty or even mildly critical.

I commented on some of her videos back when I was a fan, and my comments would always show up instantly. Is it possible to hold comments for approving on certain videos but not others? Or could she just be filtering out specific words?

She definitely deletes them. I’ve set it before so that the latest comments show first, noticed negative ones, then refreshed and they’d be gone.

ETA: she probably has certain keywords that make a comment not show but the ones that slip through are immediately deleted. Even during her “break”

I keep a vague eye on Trisha Paytas and I remember there was some recent backlash over her decision to identify as a trans gay man. An obvious troll, but there was significant outrage. I suppose it doesn't apply to Chloe as she's slightly more conventionally attractive and has the mental illness card.

It is possible to blacklist certain words, yes. So she may be blacklisting words associated with criticism. She has also previously confirmed that she deletes comments here.

They all show up instantly, for the sender. Right now I'm commenting specific words and they all show up. When I refresh the page, they're gone. When a comment has a blacklisted word, it's sent to a ''Held for Review'' section just like in TheWombSlayer's screenshot. She indeed does blacklist words

This might be something we can keep an eye on with when she finally emerges from her hovel to make a video. Absolutely no doubt she'll get some critical/negative comments so it'll be a good place to test the theories being thrown about regarding it.


Edit: I am dumbass and missed post about Chloe actively doing this. Still boggles my mind her fans see this policing as the maintenance of a safe space rather than a ploy for Chloe to protect her image from criticism
