what they often do is one will contact the other privately, express their grievances, apologize, and move on.
Should the offending adult not apologize, continue their discomforting behavior, or ramp up their actions, it is then warranted to bring the issue to higher authority - be it corporate, or the police.
I'll concede that I believe that no one should be silenced in regard to reporting assault of any kind - Even if it were to violate contracts or signed NDAs.
Given that, bringing up dirty laundry about actions that occurred over ten years ago and then spinning that into "creepy behavior" isn't really cool, and just shows that you've got a grudge to settle.
Taking that dirty laundry and then spinning it to allegedly ruin someone else's career isn't cool either - doesn't matter who did it.

IMO, the issue is when everyone dogpiles a POI with the same old jokes and insults they've likely already seen a hundred times, it's just boring seeing the same posts for 15 pages about remotes and stuff. It shits up the thread, sometimes scares away the POI (so we lose a source of information), or it makes them clam up and act defensive. Getting to make a remote control joke to Ron is fun and all, but everyone has already beaten you to it, like he beat his ex-wife in a race to the phone to stop her calling the cops about the domestic abuse.

But, that's just like... my opinion, man.

I'd have to disagree, while my rhetoric was certainly harsh (no remote jokes that I remember), I was challenging his narrative with evidence and he was still being a defensive disingenuous faggot.

Especially playing that game of "but did I say Vic's name... I could have been talking about Cosby or Harvey Weinstein..." when he very obviously was not.

If he runs away from challenges like that without dropping the "receipts" he claims he has, then he's useless outside of being an easy target for ridicule. Especially given that he's actually been proven to do shit worse that Vic has ever been "credibly" accused of.
