I'm wondering if she's thread-worthy. On one hand, she has a lot of talent and isn't a nuclear level douche so much as she's a typical Tumblr sjw with a queen bee ego.

On the other hand, seeing her constantly sperg about gay pony threesomes, trans minors, and muh toxic masculinity is pretty cringe.

You're going to be waiting a while. There are still crusty middle-aged women who are fans of the original MLP cartoon. Considering the enormous amount of "fan content" (read: porn) the Friendship is Magic fandom has produced over the years, the hardcore bronies and the artists that feed them aren't going anywhere.

Strangely, though, he gets practically no love or attention from the fandom. Funny that. It's almost like they don't care about actual black characters at all and just racebend nonblack characters for woke points.

I actually see a lot of love for him from black dudes on twitter, which doesn't surprise me. His design is nice and doesn't tip into borderline caricature territory.

I think it's mostly that white teen fangirls don't care.

Her artwork is something I guess. It’s well drawn, but also has that sort of “posh, snooty, liberal art student” vibe that I get with a lot artists these days.

I'd be up for that tbh. Not only are a lot of pokemon redesigns and fakemon designs that are downright terrible but you can find drama if you look hard enough like that one guy who wanted his TOTALLY ORIGINAL (TM) fakemon to be in Pokemon Clover and was told to fuck off by 4chan.

Would they go to community watch or Animal Control, though? Artists like DarkandWindie are furries (and he spergs alot when people on 4chan call his art shitty) while artists like "startboii" and "Devildman" aren't but trace artwork for commissions

I definitely think It's thread worthy though.

They are usually nice 30-40 years olds, who are not as much fans of the cartoons, but are collecting toys, mostly because they like cute aesthetic or because of nostalgia. They usually have kids and normal life and don't even know about amount of FiM R-rated stuff

I thought MLP fandom will get better, because there is going to be more kids who just grew up with FIM and less stereotypical bronies, but sadly many of those kids (now teenagers) got into SJW stuff popular in art communities. :/

And I know Lopoddity from DevArt front page too. Never cared much, but also wondered if she has ANY straight OCs.

It was less a criticism of the ladies who were fans of MLP before it was cool, and more a reference to how those fandoms can persist long after their source material has ended. Although I do know a couple who are keenly aware of the X-rated stuff going on in the FiM fandom. Some even actively participate in it. Guess just because they're menopausal, doesn't mean they can't enjoy pastel horse dick. But I digress.

As you said, a lot of the fans who started out as kids and will remain MLP fans have fallen into SJW-ry, so the fandom will be a cesspool for the foreseeable future. Worse, while the cartoon might be over, Hasbro is going to be keeping that cash cow of an IP alive for a long time and it's going to keep bringing in teens and young adults to horny it up in the after-dark corners of the fandom.

Though, after extensive research on alot of Instagram Pokemon artists, I can definitely say there's a huge tracing problem among them (Not this peculiar artist though). Though, at the same time, I haven't seen much drama go around them, so ehhh? I could make a thread on them if there's enough interest to warrant a thread where we mock fanmade Pokemon (re)designs.

If you want to start a "lets make fun of or critique or share fakemon" thread, I'd either put it in Games or Art & Lit. I'm down for sharing at fakemon designs and I'm sure others would be considering the Pokemon Griefing thread. I'm unaware of drama in the Fakemon community that would put it under community watch, but it's not like off topic boards don't cover minor drama either.

Edit: ninjaed. I'd include romhack drama if you go for community watch or furry subform, I'm sure there's monkeys flinging poo there.

From what I understand, she used to have a lot of characters that were diverse in representation, but not in an obnoxious way. Yeah, she had a lot of gay OCs but she at least had a handful of straight relationships as well. I've heard that she became increasingly more sjw-y post-2016 when she started to really dive off the deep end.

I'll say that at least she adds some personality to her characters. She's not anti-male either--she just wants every male to be gay/trans/a crossdresser/pansexual/etc. I'm just really sick and tired of everyone worshiping her when she's mostly just using a harmless kid's show to pander to her personal fetishes and politics.

She also rants about "toxic masculinity" a lot, which is very annoying. Male characters are presented in a positive way, but they're never allowed to act tough or badass. The one manly "straight" character she has is presented as a coldhearted bigot that hates his gay son and dies a miserable, lonely death.

Also, she took Big Mac--a character I understand is a tough manly stallion in the show--and made him a drag queen with a crossdressing fetish. EW.

As for the design itself, it's not really SJW as I said, it just simply misses the point of Hitmonchan. It's not JUST a boxer. It's based off of Jackie Chan specifically. I think they changed the "Chan" to the way females are addressed in Japan (ex. Name-Chan). But it doesn't work because the artist KNOWS all 3 are all male, anyway.
I think this artist has a hate boner for older Pokemon designs, rather than new. I only posted it here cause there wasn't much else at the time before making that thread.
