Inactive Richard "Lowtax" Kyanka - Deadbeat (emphasis on "Dead") founder of Something Awful, forced out of his own community, on his second divorce, stuck his dick in crazy, "Birth Giver"

In short, this is a good outcome for the child, and a very bad outcome for Dickard's finances, because these people don't work for free.

Someone absolutely needs to tell dear richard about how jeffery is cutting down on his ability to earn money from the forums during this.

He won't listen. He's too far gone. People have tried to tell him but, he's ignored them.

Don't know, but they (obviously) took to QQCS about it. About the limits put on how many you can make, that it's an incentive to buy plat. etc.

Don't forget, report people you want to praise! Even though mods complain about the system getting clogged up with too many reports and getting to them in a timely manner, blah blah.
What if I, a person who has actually paid money to be allowed to report posts, need to report more than 10 or 12 posts, in a particularly bad thread.

goons.txt, random.txt, put that post in all the .txts

A guardian ad litem is a special lawyer who represents the interests of a child in a case, and is essentially the child's lawyer, representing their interests. A parent would ordinarily do this (through counsel) but when a g.a.l. is appointed, it is often because the court feels that neither parent can be trusted adequately to represent the child's interest.

This is in sharp contrast to Dickard's claims of total vindication just because he currently has custody.

In short, this is a good outcome for the child, and a very bad outcome for Dickard's finances, because these people don't work for free.
Not to powerlevel, but not necessarily. A GAL is usually a volunteer, usually an older, wealthier retired woman (there are many exceptions, but that is the rule of thumb) who has the time to volunteer (or does that on a professional basis like in this example), and represents the child's interests in court. A child's court-appointed lawyer represents the child's specific interests and is called an attorney ad litem. The difference being that the GAL generally speaks to the court on what the child's best interests are based on their own information gathering. They will conduct home visits, private interviews with the child, speak with the parents, etcetera. An AAL on the other hand simply represents the interests of the child. For example, a teenager who wants to live with mom over dad because mom never makes her do homework and lets her eat like shit whenever she wants versus a dad who might be strict and makes her eat her vegetables might have a GAL who states that they feel the child's best interest is living with dad because he's the more fit parent, even if the child herself doesn't necessarily want to, but might have an AAL who will argue the child should go live with mom because that's what the child specifically desires.

I'm trying not to overtly suggest any specific action be taken because even though Lowtax is a piece of crap, it makes me feel queasy pozloading my negholep directly. That said, if a GAL saw half the shit we've seen in this thread, she'd know exactly what to do with it.

Some of them are quite zealous and competent. I've had GALs come to court and totally blindside us by randomly whipping out a mother's fucking Backpage ad before, lmao

This one isn't but is a lawyer who is probably doing this pro bono. This doesn't mean what they do is free, though, even if they may not be personally charging fees.

Custody—Minn. Stat. § 257.69, Subd. 2 (a)

“The court may order expert witness and guardian ad litem fees and other costs of the trial and pretrial proceedings, including appropriate tests, to be paid by the parties in proportions and at times determined by the court.”

The Minnesota government sites have a fair amount of general information on g.a.l.s in the state.

They often have to consult experts, like psychiatrists, or order expert consultations by the parties, which are also paid by the parties if they are able to do so. They can also request the court appoint lawyers if they have to represent the child in court and are not lawyers themselves, although this g.a.l. appears to be.

Fair, and I can only speak for my state (which isn't Arkansas), but I have a lot of experience working with GALs in general, and these specific professional lawyer/advocate types tend to have a personal stake/reason they do it; either they were abused themselves as kids and made it their life mission to protect others, or some other extremely personal motivation and reason they do it. I think this GAL, if sharp, will probably discover this thread on her own. Especially if she knows he's an "internet personality".

Those of you who know lawyer-speak and have been putting it in terms for the rest of us, I really appreciate. I don't understand half this stuff without you explaining it, so cheers for that.

Might I ask what you do or have done in the past, generally speaking? Not anything personal, just curious how you know how to interpret all this. Or if it's just something you've been curious about in life and self-educated. Feel free to be as vague or even not answer.

Not to take things off-topic, just general curiosity. Again, really appreciate it, all of you.

Edit:
I worked in child protective services in many different capacities for most of my career, before moving on to another career because CPS work is soul-destroying as fuck and makes you a borderline suicidal/homicidal misanthropist filled with hate and various psychological problems.

E: I was no lawyer, but I was on a first name basis with the entire ASA office, and in a court of law for either judicial review hearings, process hearings such as emergency removal orders, or trials on a weekly basis, several times a week.

A wonderful thing to do. I couldn't handle it, like you said, soul-destroying. Bad things happen to people all the time, but when it comes to kids, they never deserve it. I'm a wimp when it comes to hearing about kids being abused, I think while trying to console a kid they'd have to console me as well.

Good on you for that. Not enough people get recognized for trying to look after a strangers child's safety. In a professional sense. They get looked down on a lot though.

Anyway, thanks for that.
End derail from me.

Bogan has been posting in a manic state. In this one she admits she's given up on her lucrative "business" and is now financially dependent on Lowtax. Sounds on the level for a business woman. How is she paying for living expenses on a VOLUNTEER job again?

In previous days she posted about fucking divorced dads and their inability to keep up to her sex drive. Then desperately tried to "LOL I WAS JUST ROLEPLAYING GUYS" her way out of it.

Did they ever fix reports so multiple posts in a thread can be reported? It used to be that once one post in a thread was reported, every other report made on any post in the thread was rejected until the original report was resolved. It might still be that way.

It’s not like Logan’s “business” was ever viable to begin with. Now that she’s put all her eggs in Lowtax’s basket, she can “forget” to take her birth control so she can make Dickard’s fourth accident.

She just so happens to have a contact email.
Please disregard, I suck cocks. Don't do it.

No need. It’s a guarantee that Ashley’s lawyers know all about Kiwi Farms and have documented everything that helps their case.
