Chantal is like those sad schmucks who were nobodies in high school and then spend the rest of their lives trying to prove that people were wrong about them, even though everyone else has long moved on with their lives. And even if they somehow succeed and try to rub it in their former bullies’ faces, all they get is “Oh, cool. Good for you. You were always the smart kid.” And then spend the rest of their lives drinking themselves to sleep because th reaction didn’t live up to their demented expectations.

Chinny, if you somehow manage to lose the weight, no one will give a single shit. You won’t be special. People on street won’t come up to you to shake your hand. You will just be another normal weight person. You will still be a nobody in every other aspect of your underachieving life.
