Social Justice Warriors - Now With Less Feminism Sperging

This was a week ago but I didn't see this mentioned in the previous pages I skimmed. A cosplayer from the Netherlands, who goes by the screen name "WanderlustLuca" was called "racist" for cosplaying as Starfire, because the live action actress is black. Others said she can't cosplay as Starfire because she's orange, not white.

She seems harmless, just your run of the mill social media thot. I thought she was a troon like Nikkie De Jager, but she claims she's just a tall (6 foot) woman. IMO all these instathots look like troons. Maybe it's the makeup and filters. Here's the cosplay:
I didn't want to go down the rabbit hole of twitter, but I found the tweets in a different format.

So what I’m getting here is these people have never read a single comic book.

Yep, that's just run-of-the-mill SJW exceptionalism. One incarnation of the character looks like a fucking tramp and was played by a black lady, while the incarnation she was going for most definitely wasn't either.

And yeah, if she's from the Netherlands then that height checks out. There were a lot of Dutch kids in my high school and the girls could play basketball with most of the boys, that's how tall these people are.

Yes I've seen the outfit/style that she's going for but i don't remember what era it was from. Definitely not live action.

Perhaps it was just my personal bias. Even if I know she's not, I'm kind of expecting her to pull a Nikkie De Jager in the future.

She may have a number of filters on her, but I'd take this Starfire over the one on the live action show anyday.

What does that Dyan/jceygar person mean when they said move in that sentence "she's also racist, move." is that some new slang the kids are using or is it some mook twitter shit?

Probably the taller proportions and the insane amount of makeup cosplayers wear to get their faces to look more like the character they're playing. There's literally not a fraction of a square inch of her face that's not covered in at least three layers of makeup.

I think part of the anger SJWs flung her way was because since Starfire is not depicted as having white/fair skin anywhere -- and then a black actress portrayed her -- they decided that "orange" means POC as well. So it's blackface. Or they're just envious of her looks. Pick your poison.

I can’t even deny it. Pitchfork went from reviewing music for hipsters and music lovers, to replacing music lovers with hipsters that know nothing about music. The worst part about it is that the site is confusing me to the point where I can’t tell if it’s satire or the 1,000+ articles only praising female artists for being women and nothing else.
Visit Pitchfork for first time in a decade, greeted with this:

Ive never even played the games (not for lack of trying though as I do own persona 4 but the disk got scratched up) but even I know this is horseshit. The day when the US government decides to carry out a progrom against tumblrites.
The game doesn't even make it ambiguous. Naoto wanted to be a man because she wanted to be taken seriously as a detective. At least Kanji's sexuality is left ambiguous.

Hear that? That's the sound of the walls closing in. No room for interpretation.

Edit:I was incorrect about Kanji.

I saw this about now:

Of course, those are not political issues.
Those are strawmen.
I see the Motte and Bailey rears its head once again. Not a single one of those "non-political issues" are even remotely contested, even by those on the right. Here's what they're really saying underneath the thick layers of deception in play:

"Gays should be given more rights than straights and be allowed to act as a surrogate teacher/parental figure for your children!"
"Women should be handed high-paying jobs simply for being women, without having to fight for them like everyone else!"
"Trump supporters are Nazis!"
"Trump is a criminal for bribing Ukraine for dirt on Biden!"
"Trump is a war criminal for killing Qasem Soleimani!"
"Trump abuses his presidential powers!"
"Blacks shouldn't be held responsible for their own actions! It's all white peoples' fault!"

Unshockingly, it appears that the person who posted this deleted it. Shame, because I would love to see someone call him out on the wage gap issue that was solved all the way back during the '60s.

I'm also going with they are so ignorant of comics that they aren't even aware that Starfire is canonically an orange-skinned alien girl, and has been that way since her inception . Since the first time they saw her, it was in diversity-hire form, they assume that's how she's supposed to look and will accept no argument on this subject.

Even if you dug up 40 years of Marvel back-issues going all the way back to original concept-sketches of her, they'd still argue that it's "obvious" she's meant to be black and those are just "printing errors" that make it look otherwise, and if backed into a corner they can't get out of, will just call those "old racist versions" and say that comics like that are the kind of thing GG likes and the "new" version of her overwrites it all, forwards and backwards, forever, you lose bigots.....

And yet they're so vitriolic to the first Tamaranian US President.

Their commie college professors never taught them that true evilness presupposes agency. If you have no choice being "evil", however defined, you cannot be blamed for being "evil" either.

The revolutionary concept of 'free will' is as outside the SJW understanding as it was to the ancient sumerians. The same goes for true virtue.

Kanji's sexuality is not ambiguous either, he's clearly a straight dude. He frequently takes notices of the female characters in the party (during pagents, school trip, etc).

The only reason he thinks he's gay is because he's interested in Naoto (who he doesn't realize is a girl in disguises putting on an awful voice), because he likes to sew/knit, loves his mother a whole lot, is afraid of girls, and is a nice guy to children. That's literally it.

He also (at the time) doesn't have any friends that he can confide in and tell him that he's being stupid until the player character show up and pretty much does exactly that.

Adding on this:
The reason why people think that he is gay is because his Shadow is not only Camp Gay (to the point of his Palace being a gay bathhouse) but also outright says to the males that he thinks that they would be wonderful boyfriends.
(A similar situation happens with Naoto: the innermost part of her Palace has what is heavily implied to be a machine that performs gender affirmation surgery.)

The problem is that Shadows tend to take on an appearance that relates to the problems of their other selves: Yukiko is not a princess, but she wants omeone to take away her from being forced to inherit her family's business. The reason why her shadow thinks that Chie is a strong prince is because Chie fulfils that role, not out of any attraction to her. The same pattern appears wi the others: Rise is not a slut, Mitsuo is not a video game hero or a baby (physically, at least), and so n.

Another is that Shadows eventually reveal the meaning behind their appearances: aside from Shadow Yukiko outright mentioning her problems, Shadow Kanji eventually keeps talking about how he wants to be accepted despite his truggles with manliness and the accusations of his bein gay because he is not 'manly'. (Girls keeps making those accusations to him, hence his fear of them.) Meanwhile, Shadow Naoto eventually keeps talking about how the police do not ake her seriously because of her age and gender, despite needing her detective skills.
