I think there’s actually a lesson to be learned from Enter: it can always get worse. Has there ever been a bigger lightning rod to autism than Enter? His biggest fans and biggest haters are more autistic than the man himself, and now with the discovery of Ryan and the GA indiegogo streams, it shows the people he works with are almost encouraging his behavior. Is he contagious? Is this just a symptom of the cartoon community as a whole? Is there a correct party? I mention the latter because there are people even here that make me suspicious, although they have done little to prove it. I’m not calling Enter a worse lolcow than those around him or observing him, absolutely not. Enter is a great lolcow because of other non animated atrocity factors, such as Growing Around and his crossdressing fetish. I just want to know why these people are the way they are.
Why are his fans like that?: Enter got his start by analyzing individual episodes of My Little Pony and SpongeBob, the kind of adults who would be interested in that sort of content are just not going to be the most well adjusted. I don't think every adult who watches a kids' cartoon automatically must be a sperg, but Enter appeals to the worst kinds of cartoon fans; the ones that seem to have a bad grasp on where the boundary is between real life and fiction and as a result see a bad episode of something they like as some sort of personal betrayal. They become overly emotional when they see a cartoon they don't like, and Enter puts that into words, so that's why they're the people who follow him.

Why are his haters like that?: If you remember the original A-Log, he was an Autist that had a lot of things in common with Chris-Chan, and spent a lot of his time trying to dunk on CWC and prove that he was better than him. This is where we get the term A-Logging, it's when a sped tries desperately hard to show everyone he's not as big a sped as some other sped. A lot of the people who shit up this thread are doing that, look at how many of them bring up how they're making a dumbshit cartoon that's somehow so much better than Enter's. I think that the reason Enter attracts A-Logs like this is because the internet is filled with awful writers. (There's a reason Fanfiction and Wattpad have the reputations they do.) These other bad, spergy writers recognize things about their work in Enter's. Maybe they're bad at characterization too, or shoehorn in their kink hoping nobody'll notice, or just can't figure out how to make their "great idea" come together. They recognize these flaws and when they read criticism of Enter, it puts them on the defensive because "I do that shit, but at least I'm not ENTER, guys! Praise me!" (This applies not just to other poor writers who come here, but to 'Toon spergs who want to prove that they're not as bad as THIS 'Toon sperg despite having most of the same opinions. This guy on dA was one of Enter's earlier A-Logs, and he writes reviews that are just as awful as Enter's and whines about 'mean spiritedness' even more.)

Why is his staff like that?: This is probably the easiest one. Let's say you're an artist, and you want to find something to get your name out there. Along comes this super popular YouTuber and he says that he wants you to make art for his project. Now, you're excited, this will get you loads of exposure. But then things get weird. The things he'll be wanting you to draw often need to feature some crossdressing little boys. You look at his writing and it's like a strange mix of other, better shows tied together with gum and old twine. He's acting like a dick to his fans in Discord and whenever the opportunity arises, he can't answer the most basic questions about the project. He also would not be open to criticism or suggestions from you unless you make them while kissing his ass. Would you want your name associated with this now? Or, would you wait for something better to come along? The only people who would be willing to put up with working on this with him would be other speds who don't realize that slapping their name on John Enter's Little Boy Drag Show and Adult Concentration Camp would be a bad idea.

I’d imagine that the improvement was directly related to the IGG campaign. “Hey, I’m about to ask these people for $300K, better start looking a good bit more professional and less mean to Spongebob writers.”

And then it failed horribly, leading to a very predictable spiral.
THIS. Mr enter has not changed. At ALL. He just wanted good publicity for the campaign, and with critics such as EZPZ and @Clay Claymore (You inactive for a long time, i know you have work, but it would be nice for a update other than your edited enter video a moth ago...) on his trail, he tried to beg for forgiveness so his PR would be positive when the indiegogo launched. He is the exact same person back in 2015, and the best bet for him now is to just DELETE FUCKING EVERYTHING about himself considering the sheer amount of autism he has created and just "vanish" from the internet. Trouble is, like most internet critics, he believes this is a sustainable career option and the only way to make a living. From the way things are going, he might downward spiral into a spoony/yanderedev and just become a "streamer" (playing vidya while whining about chat criticizing you for not actually doing ANYTHING productive.) and that will lead to the inevitable finachu crisis, resulting in a fate in being labeled "inactive". (for reasons other than "they got their shit together". you probably know what they are.)

The issue with Enter deleting everything is that he has no sustainable income outside of Youtube and he clearly doesn't want to go far with his show given he scoffs at the idea of college and his delusions.

Listened to this at work tonight, and thought I would share it with you all. Its long but actually pretty good if youre bored. Its labeled as a review of the GA book but it mostly tears into the premise in general and shows not even normies can stomach this shit.
This was linked in this very thread back in 2018 when it was current.
The hosts are chill so it’s a good listen, but old news. They also read moviebob’s book

Can @NostalgiaJazzAdmirer get unbanned because it’s funny to read his shit in response to all of this.

Don’t take this as me knighting for Enter, I’m not because I don’t give a fuck about this thread really I don’t watch cartoons much and don’t care about this thread beyond seeing Ent- I mean @NostalgiaJazzAdmirer argue back and him using his profile as a Twitter almost nobody reads means he doesn’t say funny shit anymore. So please mods, allow him to return to this thread. So we may all enjoy old Jazz in peace and celebrate the spirit of Bob Chandler.

Just wait for another sped to be added to this thread’s body count. We usually get one or two a season as if this thread is some autistic tv show or something, which just so happens to be what every single one of them wants to make

I don’t like Autistic drama on threads here, but that just me. I prefer to just have meaningful discussion on the cow itself. (I had a bad experience on another internet famous thread where one of the subject’s cronies made a account here just to ruin It because it will ruin “the brand”. (Max field/SBN3, if your wondering.)

Then this is the wrong thread for you. We get regular autistic drama from ex-enter fans turned haters. My boy Sammy still lurks here after 2 of his alts got the hammer

It really goes back to the validation complex I was theorizing about while talking about WoW's community vs FFXIV's community. FFXIV loves to a-log the hell out of WoW because Blizzard is way more evil than Squeenix and the community on WoW are just a bunch of mean little baddies who hurt feelings. My reaction to this is usually, "Well... the reason FFXIV's community is so much better is because the moderators are trigger happy and will dish out bans regardless of what the situation is." You stand on someone, you get banned. You say something someone doesn't like, you get banned. Tell a toxic party member to fuck off, you get banned. I made the argument that FFXIV's was worse because, say what you want about WoW's, they don't try to objectively hamper your enjoyment of the game. How can you enjoy a game if you're banned for no reason?

Anyhow, it's the validation complex people have nowadays where they feel the need to be on one side of the fence because that's where everyone else is and because that's where they are, that means they're somehow better than the opposing side. The opposing side in this case is Enter and he's not really a well cherished reviewer on the internet. So... for whatever the fuck it's worth, they think because they disproportionately hate the guy that somehow means they're automatically not worse people than Enter and that casts them in a better light. But rather than have these thoughts, they feel dead set on telling everyone how they feel and regurgitate the same opinions everyone else does thinking that somehow equals moral superiority and they'll be validated for it meaning they'll get clout and... whatever other benefits come their way.

Me personally, I don't hate Enter. It takes a lot for me to hate someone and he doesn't really fit the bill. Everything he does is self-inflicted and it's more fun to look at. I don't think he's a totally talentless individual either. He's mediocre, absolutely, but he can edit videos a hell of a lot better than I can and he can usually speak without stuttering or stumbling over his words (something that takes me a long time to do just because I'm a terrible speaker).

Yup.

A lot of autists are oversensitive and easily triggered. They live in their own little world created by the media content they consume. Then something they don’t like comes along that changes it and they take it personally.

It doesn’t help that lot of them are like Chris Chan in the belief that fictional characters are real in some alternate dimension.

Take this autist for example: https://encyclopediadramatica.fyi/index.php/DisneyMaster

Speaking of spergy writing, you ever seen those shitty Pooh Adventures videos?

Interestingly in our discussion a while back, I found a lot of negative twitter posts about Enter after some video he made showing his delusions. These ex-fans of Enter appeared to have this idea that by shitting on him publicly, despite still sharing many of his beliefs and opinions, means they are morally superior, or not suffering from the same negative qualities of autism like Enter. Remember that hashtag #ActuallyAutistic? Many people that dissed him had that on their profile and shared a heavy interest in cartoons despite not being creatively talented or creating anything. So I'm unsure where this validation complex stems from besides some sort of self hatred/defense mechanism. This works vice-versa too for the people that hate him. They're upset when being compared to him, but they share his behavior and interests.

Same. I honestly came to this site because I heard about GA back in 2015 from an art friend (the original thread was already closed by then) and I wanted to see how a Youtuber would approach trying to make their own cartoon. When I learned Enter had no education, no connections, and made those terrible videos/art, I thought this was funny and knew that this project wasn't going anywhere good. But no one would talk about this honestly without comments being deleted, people getting banned, and boards deleting the thread entirely. When that Indiegogo started, I had a feeling another thread would start here.

Not to derail the conversation here, but isn't it wild how this site is the only place you can talk about GA without everybody getting butthurt? I mean we get the occasional crazy person, but most people here seem to be okay.

Ever seen those shitty Pooh Adventures videos?

No, and now I'm curious.

It’s not just that he has no education, he has no basic knowledge. He doesn’t understand what pilots or series bibles are, which implies that this cartoon reviewer literally hasn’t done any sort of research on how cartoons actually get made.

...Well, outside of “how much does a full episode’s worth of professional animation cost”, because he needed an amount for the IGG.

Oh goodie, another fucking genderswap episode.

And this probably goes without saying, but...

Because when your typical crossdressing victim has turned into a girl, make the girl who turned into a boy wear dresses instead! LOFL.

"I decided to basically explore my perceived problems, and just... see what would happen."
Well, mission accomplished, for better or worse.

And that’s one of the biggest problems with wannabe content creators. They’re ignorant. They have no idea how video games/cartoons/movies are made.

I mean, I’ve seen people on YouTube post ideas for new games, show on their but most of them have no education or basic knowledge about the industry they want to go into.
