Why are his fans like that?: Enter got his start by analyzing individual episodes of My Little Pony and SpongeBob, the kind of adults who would be interested in that sort of content are just not going to be the most well adjusted. I don't think every adult who watches a kids' cartoon automatically must be a sperg, but Enter appeals to the worst kinds of cartoon fans; the ones that seem to have a bad grasp on where the boundary is between real life and fiction and as a result see a bad episode of something they like as some sort of personal betrayal. They become overly emotional when they see a cartoon they don't like, and Enter puts that into words, so that's why they're the people who follow him.I think there’s actually a lesson to be learned from Enter: it can always get worse. Has there ever been a bigger lightning rod to autism than Enter? His biggest fans and biggest haters are more autistic than the man himself, and now with the discovery of Ryan and the GA indiegogo streams, it shows the people he works with are almost encouraging his behavior. Is he contagious? Is this just a symptom of the cartoon community as a whole? Is there a correct party? I mention the latter because there are people even here that make me suspicious, although they have done little to prove it. I’m not calling Enter a worse lolcow than those around him or observing him, absolutely not. Enter is a great lolcow because of other non animated atrocity factors, such as Growing Around and his crossdressing fetish. I just want to know why these people are the way they are.
Why are his haters like that?: If you remember the original A-Log, he was an Autist that had a lot of things in common with Chris-Chan, and spent a lot of his time trying to dunk on CWC and prove that he was better than him. This is where we get the term A-Logging, it's when a sped tries desperately hard to show everyone he's not as big a sped as some other sped. A lot of the people who shit up this thread are doing that, look at how many of them bring up how they're making a dumbshit cartoon that's somehow so much better than Enter's. I think that the reason Enter attracts A-Logs like this is because the internet is filled with awful writers. (There's a reason Fanfiction and Wattpad have the reputations they do.) These other bad, spergy writers recognize things about their work in Enter's. Maybe they're bad at characterization too, or shoehorn in their kink hoping nobody'll notice, or just can't figure out how to make their "great idea" come together. They recognize these flaws and when they read criticism of Enter, it puts them on the defensive because "I do that shit, but at least I'm not ENTER, guys! Praise me!" (This applies not just to other poor writers who come here, but to 'Toon spergs who want to prove that they're not as bad as THIS 'Toon sperg despite having most of the same opinions. This guy on dA was one of Enter's earlier A-Logs, and he writes reviews that are just as awful as Enter's and whines about 'mean spiritedness' even more.)
Why is his staff like that?: This is probably the easiest one. Let's say you're an artist, and you want to find something to get your name out there. Along comes this super popular YouTuber and he says that he wants you to make art for his project. Now, you're excited, this will get you loads of exposure. But then things get weird. The things he'll be wanting you to draw often need to feature some crossdressing little boys. You look at his writing and it's like a strange mix of other, better shows tied together with gum and old twine. He's acting like a dick to his fans in Discord and whenever the opportunity arises, he can't answer the most basic questions about the project. He also would not be open to criticism or suggestions from you unless you make them while kissing his ass. Would you want your name associated with this now? Or, would you wait for something better to come along? The only people who would be willing to put up with working on this with him would be other speds who don't realize that slapping their name on John Enter's Little Boy Drag Show and Adult Concentration Camp would be a bad idea.
