To be honest, it doesn't sound that bad. He's just tried to make a funny joke, that kinda went to the degenerate. I mean that's why he's laughing afterwards. It's just absurdist humour really.

Alex is 32 and still has this weird reverence for sex that teenage boys have due to it seeming elusive because they've never had it, but can't stop desiring it.
His Gaia online posts lament not getting a girlfriend, and I imagine that his enjoyment of games like Rapelay and stories where women are abused emerges from his resentment towards women for not liking him.

He is somewhat similar to Elliott Roger in that regard. He too desperately wanted to have a girlfriend and worshipped sex like he was a character from American pie, but due to his sheltered lifestyle, narcissistic personality and mild autism wasn't able to understand how those things worked in real world. That's why I'm sure Alex doesn't visit hookers and prefers company of his real doll. He doesn't want to love somebody, he doesn't even want to just stick his dick into someone, no, for him relationship is when somebody does only what he wants without any desires of his own.

When I started following the development of YS, and it was loooong ago, I always thought ”creepy game dev with creepy voice” is a public persona, not a developer. And it made sense - a game about anime girls, with pantyshots and stuff, why not make fun of it by making progress videos with creepy voice.

I haven't checked this thread for two years, decided to casually do it today, and absolutely nothing changed aside from the fact that more and more people started to notice the bullshit of Alex and finally opened their eyes, hence the recent surge of memes about him on Twitter etc etc.
What I don't get is why some people still want to see his game finished, it should be more than obvious now that it's unredeemable, unfixable garbage and it's only good for people to laugh at his spaghetti IF ELSE IF ELSE coding. He should be destroyed, not just being pointed at and laugh, he is leeching thousands of dollars and has no respect for his young audience, this circus has been going on for too long.
Even the base concept itself was ridiculous from the beginning to be honest. Only a loser like Alex could have picked up such an idea.

Here's the thing about this trainwreck though, as it's progressing I'm think instead of a loud bang it's going to end with a whimper. Alex will release the game eventually, it'll be a buggy mess, he'll attempt to fix it maybe and he'll work on it less and less while his Patreon slowly but surely dries up while people continue to laugh at him and more and more young children realize they've been scammed. When that happens he'll resort to becoming a fulltime streamer until what remains of his fanbase gets sick of him. Then he'll disappear off the face of the Internet.
TL;DR - Lolcows almost never go out with a bang, they just slowly fade and wither away
