I don’t think EVS has out-and-out shit on Mitch for his handling of his campaign so the CG dregs seem to be mixed as to whether Mitch bailing on backers is a bad thing. Zack is probably softballing him since he knows a lot of his backers are still EVS acolytes and, at the same time, Mitch has managed to accomplish something he sought out to do so he’s also likely genuinely impressed.

That said, Zack softballing Mitch feels more genuine than, say, Ethan Ralph and Nick Rekieta softballing EVS every time he steps on a landmine and has to answer for something. He still addressed it, however gently. He didn’t completely ignore the elephant in the room at the very least.

As an outsider just observing, the "antis" aren't the same as Warcampaign. The so called "antis" are a bunch of people who probably don't even know about or talk to each other, except for the high profiles one like Hut, JDA, Cummings, and the like. That's a very small group of people. I don't know of "antis" getting into private meetings and orchestrating gay ops and downfalls of people. Unlike Warcampaign, an actual organized group, clearly, the so called "enemies" of CG aren't sinking as low as them.

It is a reach to think people would try to pull of the gay ops that WC does, fails (just like what just happened with the thot pages before this), and out themselves.
