That's such a baffling way to try and frame this, too. If you're supposed to be a non-partisan reporter just covering the news, what difference does it make to you whether or not someone's "violating a company's policies?" It's absolutely a rhetorical question, but why does a journalist that's unaffiliated with a company feel the need to try and enforce said company's policy positions?

One of the trends I've been noticing is the left assumes the right is incapable of any innovation. This is the most blatant example of it I've seen, but it's been around awhile. Banning conservative views from your news station doesn't make them invisible, it means they open their own place acrossed the street. If Trump is removed from twitter, in under an hour there will be a Trump profile on a clone site, "Hello Chirper! Looking forward to a much improved new platform! HAPPY!". They can't cancel culture the president, just like they couldn't stop chik-fil-a. You can only cancel with direct authority approval; otherwise it's just screaming at the void.

Honestly, I think the right is undergoing a sort of constant darwinian improvement in most things, because there's external resistance and internal competition. The left, on the other hand, is a top-down stagnant colossus who can't adapt to new situations because deviation threatens the inner-party members' stranglehold and they have to maintain a fake internal unity because their dogmatic narrative, THE RIGHT SIDE OF HISTORY, implodes if the internal inconsistencies are discussed.
I've seen a few people in this thread describe the same situation, but I think that there's more to it than just the left and the democrats trying to keep up the right side of history façade. I think that after Obama was elected, the democrats and left wing voters believed that they had finally and truly won. Maybe it was a combination of the media sucking his dick, along with jerking themselves off about how racism was now a distant memory, but they genuinely thought that they'd taken full control of the government away from those mean republicans and all their racist hillbilly supporters. Not to mention there was an entire generation of students who grew up surrounded by the news praising Obama and blaming everything on white supremacists. So, when Hillary ran for president, in their mind it was already a forgone conclusion that she would win. After Obama, how could the evil racists stop the first female president from being elected? So they sat back, rested on their laurels and smugly awaited the results.

Meanwhile, the republicans were a fractured and divided party, with no clear direction and a voter based that had grown tired of polished and constantly polite politicians who cared more about appearance than standing for something. The situation was absolutely perfect for Trump to come in and unite the party, completely changing how politicians appeared and interacted with the public. Still, the democrats did nothing because they thought they would win. Even up until the election results were revealed, they were absolutely certain they wouldn't lose, so they never bothered to try and convince more people to vote. All the while Trump did the exact opposite, he appealed to people and gave them reasons to vote for him.

And that mindset still hasn't gone away. The democrats refuse to try and increase their voter base because they can't comprehend needing to. Hell, they're trying to bank on Obama nostalgia to win the election now, not realizing that it's exactly that kind of thinking that lost them the election in 2016. The party has stagnated and still thinks that giving mindless speeches about stopping racism or whatever would keep winning them elections. Ironically, the progressives are stuck in the past.

Imagine how psychotic the management of MSNBC must be to consistently hire the craziest people in all of TV news. Alex Jones flailing about in a frog costume talking about eating his neighbors sounds downright sane compared any MSNBC anchor.

Because the Democrats have refused to allow Trump to appoint anyone in the past 4 years, IIRC. Everything's "temporary appointments." They're actually, with the SCOTUS's help, abusing a loophole to keep congress in session 24x7 to prevent it, too.

I'm not sure the Democrats can be blamed for this one. I thought Mitch McConnell was preventing him from appointing anyone as well?

This seems somehow both coordinated and not. Certainly contradictory in terms of narrative.

I believe all appointments have to go through the house before Mitch even gets a chance to talk about them? And Pelosi's policy the past 4 years, between box wine bender blackouts, is "we're just gonna sit back for the next 8 years and refuse to let ANYONE do ANYTHING because IT WAS HER TURN." (And if he actually had a chance to do his job, they'd find all the Clinton and Obama corruption.)

So DRUMPF POOP POOPY PLOD TURD MAN DRUMPF has officially been entered into the democrat leadership's rhetorical arsenal at this point...

Also between this unproverbial shit, the pee tape debacle, and literal thousands of furious political comics portraying drumpf as a poopoo diaper wearing subhuman toilet man over the past five years, I am half tempted to ask a science nigga to do a psychological analysis on the mass obsession with defecation and urination among establishment democrat goons, because it seems there are a lot of people with unresolved bathroom issues in that rabble

Why do we need a national testing strategy at this point? It's going to burn out on it's own before anyone can even agree on an implementation plan at this point....

It's to reinforce the association between "Trump" and "disgust" in people's minds.
