They are part of the section of people that don't really care about morality and want to run amok but arent strong enough to do so, its why their actions are always built around tattling on people who allow themselves to be more free than them. I forget who it was but they pointed out these big youtubers cause alot of crackdowns themselves by bitching at content like Leafy and cyberbullying and react channels and their copyright infringement, they know itll ruin the platform to complain but there is someone doing something that they dont want to risk themselves and being successful at it. Ethan doesnt care that monetization is getting harder for the other youtube parasites, he just cares that keem is more free in his content and still had a sponsor. This is the cost of Ethan's safety, being a repressed pussy who does everything he complains about
I think with Keem, it's also the ego. A lot of people try to play it down, even if it's just a little, but he seems to have that sort of personality of someone blowing smoke up their own ass. That "self important" thing. Like ethan. They are the same, but just different enough.
