Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

This Modern World is absolutely NOT parody.

He thinks that's a valid political comic.

He thinks he's making a salient point and influencing readers.

He's so far gone that even when I was deep in the bubble I couldn't even get into him.

Here's DailyKOS's Comics Category. https://www.dailykos.com/blog/Comics

And here, went I went to archive it, is a 7 year old archive I think I actually made back in the day. I remember a few of these comics from my time in the bubble, so lets take a quick peek, shall we? https://archive.vn/gx81k

GAAAZE into early 2013, when the fucking left was just starting to fall down the slippery slope.

Here's Animal Nuz, which is a satirical news comic. Only with animals instead of people.

DO YOU GET IT? Republicans are EVIL MONSTERS who are LITERALLY PLOTTING TO SLAUGHTER CHILDREN, because they need to top their current evils of RACISM, TAX EVASION, GAY-BASHING, VOTER-SUPPRESSION, POLLUTING, AND EVEN RAPE! (Note: "Slaughter Children" means "Refuse to allow Obama and Pelosi to effectively repeal the 2nd Amendment.")

Here's Wuerker suggesting the Filibuster is a disgusting blob of a monster that does nothing but stop the senate from doing it's job.

Ain't hindsight a BITCH, Democrats?

There's Tom the Dancing Bug, ranting about Zero Dark Thirty, and how other oscar-nominated films also supported torture.

Fun fact: Literally AS THIS COMIC WAS BEING POSTED in 2013, Obama was killing US Citizens without a trial with drone strikes. And hospitals. And charities. And children. And churches. And shoving brown children in cages. But none of that matters because he is the dindu king, and can do no wrong.

Here is Brian McFadden, which I never even tried to read.

View attachment 1309321

It's hard to read but also literally missing from the web, but the punchline is "Republicans are spoiled babies, especially that goddamned Speaker of the House, who refuses to give Obama everything he wants." McFadden, apparently, ended up on GoComics eventually.

He's just as insufferable as the rest of them.

View attachment 1309335

Here's Jen Sorenson, who you might think is Matt Bors, but isn't.

View attachment 1309322

The punchline is "guns are scary and I wet myself, please take away my civil rights."

And here's Keef Knight, who I only really remember as a blog in comic form.

View attachment 1309323

And not to be outdone, here's Matt Bors, who you might think is Jen Sorenson, but isn't.

View attachment 1309325

The punchline is "guns are scary and I wet myself, please take away my civil rights." Oh, and "Only complete monsters use pattern recognition to realize Muslims are fucking violent terrorists."

And finally, here's our good buddy Tom Tomorrow.

The woodchuck character is meant to represent the evil and vile CALM AND RATIONAL CENTRIST who refused to accept Tom's author insert Sparky's repeated and incessant demands that the politicians allow the left, especially King Dindu, to do whatever they wanted all the time every time.

In hindsight, it was never Trump Derangement Syndrome. They're just plain fucking Deranged.
Would it kill any of these artists to pick up a more pleasing artstyle? If I’ve going to read their preaching (and given that these are leftist comics, that’s a lot of reading), I at least want the pictures to offer pleasant distraction.
Don’t get me started on the laziness of the penguin one.

Their solution to avoiding improving as an artist is to spam you to death with words. Well, that and the left can't be concise.

Having constant, unrelenting, and high-octane cognitive dissonance thrumming against the inside of the skull will do that to a person.
Actually every one of those comic remind me of underpants gnomes. Just look at the Trump meat one and see if you can figure out where the connection is between panel 2 and panel 3.

Should we not do something about food shortages? Should people just starve?

The holodomor and Great leap Forward should be lessons to everyone that the government cannot decree food.

If we do have a nice food shortage from this, I cannot WAIT for the SJWs and the Woke Hipsters and the Pelosis of the world to try and explain that the food rations should go to their pet dindu dens first, because white privlege means you might be the farmers of the US, but you deserve to eat last to make it fair for the rest of us.

See also: When California and NYC start running out of food because of these stupid moves and demand the rest of the US drop everything and conjure kale, lattes, and free range beef for them.

Remember, Gillibrand already explained that we need a special stimulus package for the dindu dens, because something something hit harder something something ignoring all common sense about a pandemic something something WE WUZ HURD IMMUN AND SHEEEET.

Remember we have the MovieBobs, people who are incredibly stupid with science, who legitimately think food appears magically.

California isn’t going to run out of food (most of it is food production and we have our own slaughterhouses), but if Pelosi tries to cuck the red counties they might boog and that would be fun to watch

Are these idiots really thinking the pandemic will continue in November?

So uh, let me get this straight telling the people that they need to liberate themselves from their oppresive leaders is threatening their right to vote.......... I'm, I'm honestly not surprised. Frankly I'm still kind of woried about Stephen Kings mental health though, kind of afraid we'll find him dead in a week in a pile of cocaine and an unfinished book about a killer twitter account.

I guess they do want to nuke the economy with this now...

I was considering my hypothesis on that (governors and locals wanting to close the economy to make sure they have a cudgel and a terrified crowd) to be pure tinfoil, but fuck it I guess they're that suicidal and spiteful.

Why would small business owners support the Green Party? They are also for a permanent "science based" lockdown.

Party affiliation is basically a social talisman when it's not actually supposed to be. They're afraid of being seen as evil if they go Republican, plus they probably disagree with them on some pet social issues.

Yes, because I should listen to a Marvel movie director who peaked after the second IM movie on politics because...?
Edit: Deepest apologies to Chef, it’s a different guy with the same name. Iron Man 2 was definitely a low blow.
>Vote Save America
There’s that hyperbolic endgame shit I was talking about earlier.

I will never understand why they feel the need to interject themselves into politics when they have no real business butting in. Having clout in Hollywood doesn’t translate into a deep understanding of how the world works.

This is a different person with the same name. This Jon Favreau served under Obama and his currently shilling for a possible rapist.

Honestly I think it because they kind of understand that politics is downstream of culture and this is the first time they weren't able to convince people to vote one way so they are starting to go nuts thinking it's not that they can't control the people it's just they weren't explicit enough. Also I just can't comprehend that Stephen King qouted beavis and buthead to insult Trump.

Never gloat when someone comes across the aisle, don't tell them you told them so, or say what took them so long. Give them a hug and a beer and say "I know how you feel."

The difficulty is knowing which ones to "lift up again" and which ones to crush.

I understand that showing mercy will help change a person's mind but there is also those that would turn on you once this crisis has passed.

Green party is a third party. I think it is more an attitude of "anyone besides the main two parties."

Remember we have the MovieBobs, people who are incredibly stupid with science, who legitimately think food appears magically.

A friend of mine went to college in a city. For a class project he filmed some of the wooded areas around his home town. His class asked "did you head out of state to record this?" As far as they knew our entire state is glass, asphalt and steel with nature contained to small areas.

The logistics miracles required to feed cities would blow their fucking minds.

I literally don't understand the raging anger around increased infected numbers brought about by increased testing. Sure it would be nice if the numbers went down, but increased testing is just showing a more accurate picture of reality. They act like if people weren't tested they wouldn't have been infected, they would still have been sick but just without anyone knowing until symptoms got really noticeable. Of course, they'd complain just as much if they didn't ramp up testing and numbers stayed low.

Gives me a very similar feel to all those anti-vax parents that are obsessed with the rising rates of autism. It just shows that testing has become better and more widespread that people who would have previously gone undiagnosed and fallen through the cracks are now being found.

I honestly don't get these people (TDS sufferers) because they don't make any sense from my point of view. Their view of reality is so different from my own that it's sometimes hard to follow what they're talking about. Similar to that feeling you get when you and a friend watch the same movie yet arrive at widely different conclusions around "the message" being conveyed. Usually, you and your friend can give solid evidence based on the movie and even if you can't come to an agreement over everything due to differences in interpretation you understand that both sides were actively engaging/analyzing the movie. Except in the case of TDS people when they start explaining the "plot" or "character motivations" it sounds like they had seen an entirely different movie nothing like what you just saw.
