I've observed and participated many-a times on this thread to assess the damages it may cause to Natalie's well-being as well as to determine how such can be mitigated. Given the extraordinary situation of Natalie experiencing a crippling depression in the past three months, I've come to appeal to your better nature, and implore you to cease these nefarious activities against our mutual person of interest, lest your troubles are compounded by the involvement of the FBI.
It has been my experience, through dealing with children, that the hardest of messages can be conveyed through the simplest analogies. Viewing you all as fellow human beings, I shall draw an analogy using planes to make things plain and simple. To that end I ask: What is a plane? Is it an aerial object navigating the skies? Or is it a Penis? Harboring biological substances yet to reach their final destination? In both cases, the answer is no! The plane is not a thing in of itself inasmuch as a tool conceived and constructed thru human cognizance to suit our needs. In the same note, can gender be perceived as anything but such?
@Nykysnottrans, you're a big guy. For you, I have a question: Isn't gender in the eye of the beholder? An intangible, subjective thing. No different than your virulent obsession with Natalie Wynn, subject to a change on a whim. Like you misnaming and misgendering her whilst changing your truths on a whim? I dare say, YES! In fact, this matter is so highly subjective that I may choose to believe that you yourself are a so-called 'chaser' of Contrapoints. A washed up, middle-aged miscreant leaching onto the fame and suffering of others if no other reason than to appease your withering vanity and sanity? How about that as an a-priori truth? Its proof?! Oh, just look at your own ranting and raving and raging and rattling as you sit bursting at the seams! Ranting about Contra each day, every day, like an abandoned girlfriend. Following on from this, keeping in mind that gender is merely a construct, does this not also imply that your own presented persona is a fabrication? If we are to take it from you, would you cease to exist materially? If I pull your cat mask off, will you die, or will it just be extremely painful? After all, your presented image is only as real as is Natalie's. If you can utilize your empathetic prowess earned from years giving honest fashion advice on the drag queen/gay scene, you may just come to see how deep the pain Natalie feels is when you deny her her womanhood, as strong as the pain you would feel having your own self image torn away, and left with the bare reality of you are!
On that note, I shift back to the other users and lurkers of this thread. And I have this question,
for you: Where is your empathy? Where is your compassion? Why can't we treat gender as the subjective thing that it is, and settle on a gentle landing? If you're picking on Natalie because she shakes your sexuality, makes you doubt your own gender or because she's just too deep for you, that's silly and subjective, like gender. Total cringe! Leave Contra alone, and think upon yourselves before lashing out on others to vindicate your own shortcomings.
