I knew this would happen. As I figured Keem is taking the good guy route and standing as tall as he can in this shit flinging contest, but his fans are going to keep seizing up like animals even without his instruction. Ethan did this to himself. By showing that fans could have a visible, noticeable impact on someone's well being that actual moron may as well have told Keemstar's audience to attack him right back in the same impossible to avoid way. What did you even expect. At this point I doubt there's anything Keem can do, if he even wanted, to stop his group from striking back.

That would be a tremendous mistake. Ethan is the one who has always tried to capitalize on the 'good guy' schtick. Keem is the villain of YouTube and it has worked so far. He might just be letting Ethan try out his new bad guy persona for a while and let it fail miserably before sweeping in. He gets two advantages then....he gets to showcase his opponents incompetence, and be seen to mercifully restrain himself from going full 'Keem'.

Now that would be a knockout blow.

DDoSing the Old Spice website isn't going to make the company want to reinstate Ethan Klein and his shitty Podcast as Sponsors for their products. If that is real, then the only things that sped managed to achieve is destroy any chance that Old Spice might have reinstated him as well as make Ethan look less appealing to future sponsors (No company wants to hear that their site might get DDoSed if they choose to drop one of their sponsors for whatever reason).

I think Ethan fucked up not making the video more like content cop and doing more skit segments like Ian does. With Ians videos he could talk about the creator and even if the criticisms weren't that damning, people loved the entertainment side and it boosted the video further. Ethan did a weird intro and this outro song but the rest is just him complaining. So when he says Keem is freaking out over one video, it pretty much falls flat considering the video is entirely designed to destroy him.

He tried to do skits in SomeOrdinaryGamers video and it fell flat on its face. He isn't able to joke around like Ian did in his content cops because he is too invested in the drama. He'll come off as too salty.

I guess I'm late but there is something that has been bothering me for a long time with this kind of behaviour.
People are always jumping to "oh I never SAID that! Prove it that I SAID it!" when they get called out on their fucking bs.
This is not some kind of exercise where words stand in a vacuum, suggestion and implication is very much real. You don't have to explicitly express something for others to come to a conclusion. It was very much his intention to imply that and to act like he did not is just cowardice. At least own up to your shit.
