It's the results of his sedentary lifestyle. Most hikikomoris are forced to at least get a basic job or something by Digi's age but his parents and internet paypigs have enabled him to be a lazy self-absorbed shutin his entire life. He's a 28 year old man who has never worked a day in his life. Some might call him lucky but that type of sloth becomes a curse eventually. His health will continue to decline unless he changes his lifestyle.
He worked at a Target early in the decade when he was just starting out on YouTube. Not that this really changes anything about him. His MLP shit made money pretty quickly so that job didn't last long. I'd like to see a guy like him work a grocery job after living on the internet for so long.
