See, if Marie's past as a camwhore was 100% true (which I'm tempted to believe, but as it stands, there's still room for interpretation), Dick could have made it a whole lot more ambiguous in his favor by admitting that Marie was 80s Girl, but that she wasn't a camwhore. It would be more believable than the current situation in which Dick is swearing up and down that Marie is not 80s Girl, 80s Girl was not a camwhore, and Marie is a completely different person that he happens to be mysteriously white-knighting for anyway.
