According to the Warcampaign DLive stream the other day, Jon Malin has reached out and was talking to Mike S Miller. Perhaps Jon see's the writing on the wall and is trying to mend bridges to team up with Mike and Doug.

The news of them both going on vacation at the same time is highly suspicious and coincidental for my liking. Ethan has already ditched Mike and Edwin for Warcampaign, there is no reason why Cecil and Jon should think they are immune.

The problem is Ro and Panboy agree to the truce but the rank and file WC guys don't. No name WC guys continue to meme and provoke Malin and Cecil, which in turn triggers a response from Jon and Cecil, which then drags Ro and Pan back in to comment on how Cecil and Malin are attacking the customers, which in turn creates more headaches for Ethan.

It's a feedback loop and at this point it seems irreparable.

I always enjoyed his portfolio reviews and drawing streams tbh, he seems so far removed from his channels original content.

I could see Malin leaving because he actually has some talent and other industry connections but not Cecil. Cecil has nowhere to go, I doubt Mike and Doug would let him in their little faction since Cecil is an antagonistic, degenerate drunk with no talent outside getting wasted and being a punching bag on livestreams for comedic effect.

There are rumors that Ro had a prior relationship to EVS similar to Zack although personally I don't believe it. I combed Ro Kabir's former twitter years ago and archived a bunch of stuff and the timeline of events leading up to Comicsgate.

Originally Ro Kabir was a Jordan B Peterson fanboy who tweeted him similarly to Ethan but received no recognition or head-pats. Then later Ro found Zack and by extension Ethan VanSciver, Ro was actually amazed to discover that Ethan was the artist on 12 Rules for Life, it was like two worlds colliding for him.

I absolutely agree, Cecil is a talentless hack. He may reunite with Nerkish in some form or another but otherwise his going down with the ship.

Then April 2019, then June 2019, then it was at the printers in August 2019, then everyone got the book months later without the ashcans.

I started overproducing it at first, that was a big mistake and overall I figured was kind of pretentious. But in order to have an idea of what Comicsgate is about now, you have to first break down Zack's conception of Comicsgate versus Frog's developed working model of Community / Model / Ideals that became CG in practice, as well as break CG into the three major stages of the initial Rebellion when CG started as a reactionary consumer movement to bad comic content, followed by the nucleonic when collective action was taken by people who did not agree on what the collective's goal was, followed by its current fragmented, declining state of increasingly esoteric, insular warring factions.. There's no way of easily presenting it and I dropped the ball; thank you for reminding me, Sir.
