Just gonna call it now.

May will leave Digi in the future.

I can see this happening. As far as we know the reason why the two haven't gotten married is Digi owes the IRS Back Taxes. They have been engaged for almost two years and were hoping to get married around the new year. Pushing the wedding out could cause some tension. I think once the finances really get tight with the patreon dip their relationship may (no pun intended) fold under the pressure. May is younger than Digi (both being fairly immature for their age). I think with time as May gets older she will realize that most women in their 30s will be married to a spouse who hopefully has built somewhat of a career, financially responsible, and owns some form of property. Digi is approaching 30 doesn't hold most traits that people seek in a long term partner. May also seems to be amplifying Digi's poor decision making. I wouldn't be surprised if she pressures Digi into getting a house too early with some sort of junk mortgage which they end up defaulting on. May has talked on a podcast about one of her friends from high school having a baby and one can infer May has the early stages of baby fever. The pieces are already being placed on the chess board.

From what I can tell, Hololive often selects independent vtubers who already have a proven track record and just need a boost to get to the next level.
Many of them are regular streamers. The one you mentioned, Kiryu Coco, was fairly quickly recognized as Kson, as corroborated by stream chat filters across both channels.
May literally uploaded a video saying hey I'm going to audition to voice in an industry that holds the anonymity of the VAs key.
Given the amount of the VA's personality that seeps into their characters, anonymity is very hard to actually keep, as shown by the years-long song and dance about how Nozomi Kasuga definitely isn't Kizuna Ai before finally admitting it.
There's also a difference in culture between western streamers in showing their face and whatnot, I would be very surprised if Cover failed to take this into account when doing english recruitment provided that Coco/Kson was the kind of person that would sign up.
I believe personal lack of art skill is irrelevant, they would be having a 2D/3D modeler make the actual character with minimal VA input, if any.
The real reason why May would be radioactive would be because she would immediately try to start beefing with other people, as has been proven in this very thread.

Lots of people used to meme about how their relationship was better than MB's, but if a breakup happens it would mean that cucked soygolem Geoff would win again.
I genuinely think there is a nonzero chance of that happening and I wouldn't dare look away.

Who is your favorite Skullgirls character, Digibro????
We know what his favorite 2hu is. It's either Flandre or Remilia, I don't remember which.
Thinking back on it, this would have been back in 2015 at least when he admitted this on stream and currently there are 180 touhou characters, so I'd say at the time there were about 150 to choose from in terms of favorites. In hindsight it's kind of telling that out of a hundred plus characters he chooses the one known for kickstarting the 1000 year old vampire trend.

May will leave Digi in the future.

It's fun for her now, but women want a man in the long run. Digi will inherit more female traits that other women hate, Digi will shirk more of the mans responsibilities and May will turn to hate it and leave him.

Also if your reading this Digi, Hi! You were fun on the latest Dick show.

Nah, she will leave him the second digi's patreon takes another big hit, which is inevitable at this point.
that bitch has been chasing e-fame and money from the beginning, i'm starting to see digi as the victim on this situation, and that's saying something.

tbh the main reason Digi's channel is dead is simply his schizophrenic topic selection. Digi works best as that disheveled dude rambling on about an anime he either loved or hated and, as much as he keeps saying pretending it isn't, he doesn't have a channel that people tune into for his personality. I genuinely think that his August daily video series was the last of the content where he really stood out because it was peak Digi. It's autistic and I disagree with a lot of it, but it still was worth watching in my eyes. When he got into armchair psychology, mediocre writing, and music, I and several other people who only care about the weebshit just couldn't bring myself to care for it. It's no shock that the further away from anime it becomes, the less engagement it receives. He just needed to just focus on the "autistic anime hot take guy with no filter" persona and keep up regular uploads on the latest happenings in animu. YouTube heavily favours people who upload regularly. Finish or Fail was a great series that, while opinionated, still gave a genuine "season at a glance" that very few anime tubers are good at doing. I get thats a lot of time and work to make, but it actually has value to people outside the small and loyal "Digi fanbase". Still, Digi just gave up on it like anything else that wasn't a world-shattering success.

Digi always has had some people that were interested in his side projects, and that has always been the basis of his financial support, but tbh it has zero growth potential. People grow bored of personalities and move on, and without new people replacing them he always was going to slowly fade away. I'm surprised it took this long to get this dire tbh. He's fucked up his channel organisation so bad I'm not sure he can ever really fix it. On one hand, I think Digi's idealistic "for the art" mentality of YouTube isn't complete shit. The only problem is that it's complete shit if you actually want to make any kind of lasting success and money off it. I'm not saying you need to go full Supreme Sellout like Geoff did, but being "shockingly niche" won't work.

It's too late now anyways. People have said this for years so I'm not expecting anything to change.

"im not owned! im not owned!!", i continue to insist as i slowly shrink and transform into a 30 year loli slob lurking on my own thread and locking my reddit.

May recently made an audition tape to be a Vtuber for the company Hololive. She left the video unlisted/privated on her channel because she didn't want people on the farms critiquing it. May I know you will read this and they aren't going to pick you. The audition tape comes off as awkward and extremely cringey. In the theoretical scenario you do get picked, enjoy being exploited by a Chinese media company taking 80 percent of the revenue 🤡 .

Audition begins at 4:48

I feel like this was overlooked in the shitstorm of digi becoming a troon. Like this was so unbelievably fucking stupid. Someone linked this vid to me, joking about how HoloEN is going to be garbage and when I saw it was May I lost my shit. The fact that she posted this "publicly" and its already been posted everywhere just shows a huge lack of privacy/concern for her personal life which automatically fucks her out of having any chance of even being taken seriously by them. Plus her entire online identity is being someone's girlfriend which is a big deal for idolshit culture lol.
I think the only reason Coco is an exception is because her KSon channel(her original channel which she uses to teach english) was already such a big part of her identity and was already a decently sized channel on niconico and YT. Plus coco looks like this IRL. And this is May.

edit:
But financially she is definitely the dependent one. She has no income of her own and is generally an exceptional individual that nobody likes, her only worth as a human is being Digibro's girlfriend
I almost want to say her desperately trying to cash in on the vtuber/hololive fad is just her trying to avoid getting a real job because of digi's slowly declining patreon. I remember she was going back to college but I guess she dropped out to put all her effort into pantsu party and being digis editor or something

@Y2K Baby has thought he was super feminine for several years now and is now finally able to progress to a relationship with digibro.

letting you all know beforehand that they will be married within a year, congratulations to the beautiful couple

Babby wants to penetrate Digi's kawaii chocolate starfish.

That's why I can't feel any real anger towards Digi, because he's done nothing ever really to personally effect or ruin something I like. I just pity him more because he can't be successful while doing whatever he wants. As a content creator, I can admire he wants to put out whatever he feels like making, with his own unique edge or aesthetic to it, I even think his look is cool. But everyone has to understand that level of inconsistency, in tone, editing, topic, upload schedule, and personality doesn't translate to success at all, and you can't grow from it at all. This is the kind of thing you do for fun. You have a job you can comfortably rely on, but you have this crazy YouTube channel and separate online personality where you can cater to a little group of fans you have. You can't build a career out of ranting about an anime on your couch with a hobo beard in a V-log, then a week later release a subpar anime song cover with you screeching lyrics. It's experimental and interesting, but not a moneymaker thing.

She's desperately trying to live the E-celeb lifestyle and craves fame, that's the only reason why she decided to date digi in the first place, no one was as desperate for some pussy as him.

and for some reason she thinks that inserting herself into this drama and going on the killstream will help grow their channels, but both digi and may are absolutely delusional if they think that they can handle that kind of audience. most people on there hate troons and attention seeking thots to begin with, the only thing that will grow is this thread lol.

it will be funny to see them trying to get real jobs when they realize that this is just not going to work for them.

Did this dumbass really try and pull the “the kiwis are the real lolcows” bit on Dick’s show? Where’s he getting the idea that everyone here is some creator’s alt as well? Isn’t that a fairly classic idea that a lot of cows get in their head; that this is Mean Girls shit instead of people just watching a retard punch himself in the nuts?
