Angry Violent Chill Stream recap
The topic of this stream was Frog realizing that the ongoing conflict between the JACK show cast (Jon Malin, That Star Wars Girl and Cecil) against Warcampaign
over the past month and a half requires real action on his part as the feuding sides left to their own have bled into Frog's show and made continuuing unbearable unless action is taken. At this point we all know about Frog's agonizing over choosing between his true friends and his retarded obnoxious gay treacherous internet fanclub/cringecult that works behind the scenes to turn all his other allies against him. This is a tough call for Frog. Thankfully, Mat "Panboy Soychild Donglover" Hanson makes this choice a lot easier with Ro Kabir (the smart one) being asleep and taking it on himself to present Frog with an ultimatum in DMs declaring that hosting Cecil and Malin while they talk shit about WC isn't Frog being "neutral", and that Frog can either be neutral by barring them off his platform or he can turn his back on the Warcampaign, punctuating it with a peppy call for Frog to go fuck himself.
Ruefully, Frog goes through the considerable evidence Cecil provided him (weeks ago) about being harangued by WC members as a fat clown who promotes out of simping instead of CG loyalty (mostly true) while being comically civil in reply and muses that, alas, Comicsgate was never about gatekeeping anyone from making comics. He handles some superchats, including Liam Gray adorably "asking" Frog in front of his audience how he could show his backers that the used car he bought didn't involve dipping into his IGG funds to do it. This is cut off by Panboy, feeling he's not done enough already, demanding to show up on stream to set Frog straight on a few things.
Pan's argument is that Cecil has done "things", and that's unfortunate, and "people" "feel" like Cecil has shat upon his biggest fans. Frog cites the documented evidence he just presented of Cecil behaving civilly while being attacked unprovoked by Warcampaign. Pan's next argument is that Warcampaign reached out for a truce but
also that WC high-ups have no ability or right to police WC members' speech. This gets an amused laugh from Frog. The point was, Cecil and Malin were rejecting the calls for peace, and instead started spreading lies about WC engaging in doxing as Vestige was being delivered. Frog says that Cecil was receiving dox threats at the exact same time
"Cororo" was screaming on the Liamstream about "how i got all your doxes mathafacka" and that his fears were not rooted in malice. Panboy categorically denies Warcampaign was responsible but also denies responsibility or accountability for anyone in WC's actions outside its core council. Frog gently walks Panboy's dumb ass over how worthless such a guarantee is.
Pivoting, Panboy throws out that all people in WC are part of CG so really people wanting to dox Cecil is a Comicsgate issue not a Warcampaign issue, because of Cecil's mistreatment of Comicsgaters. Frog again refers to the evidence of what he saw, and if he saw Dan Slott or Mark Waid being treated by fans as Cecil was treated by WC, he would have sided with the creators and Comicsgate would have no reason to exist. Frog asks what it will take to make Panboy happy; Panboy says there is no being happy with the broken trust between Panboy/Warcampaign and that this must be a sad parting of the ways, but stay tuned for Warcampaign's bold new direction. Frog closes by having a laugh and wishing Panboy and the members of WC that choose to follow him success following the trail that Mike S. Miller, Captain Cummings, Sashi, Nerkish and George Alexopolous have set going it on their own. "Too bad."
With this strong showing, I look forward to hearing Panboy's defense in his cyberstalking trial.
