U.S. Riots of May 2020 over George Floyd and others - ITT: a bunch of faggots butthurt about worthless internet stickers

Why can't these niggas just protest peacefully without damaging random property? They always without fail hurt their case the most and give police even more reason to escalate things.

Riots aren't about a message or trying to advance any cause, they're all just outrage-driven fights and excuses for theft, which is why these events fade from the public consciousness so quickly.

Dindus are gonna dindu
"Boys will be boys"

That said? Fuck this officer. There's better ways of restraint. Taze his ass if he gets out of line. If I'd heard "TASER TASER TASER BZZT" I'd have less of a problem.
I work low-level security for quinceaños parties, wine tastings, etc. I had a co-worker who clocked a dude in the head with his baton and got fired for it. The week before he called a pizza delivery dude "negrito" behind his back.

I didn't lose a goddamn wink of sleep when he got fired. Fuck his racist ass, don't be bringing the rest of the force down because you wanna say nigger at work.

EDIT: Yay, rip word filter

the two party system was a mistake, simply because it's given each side a scapegoat to rail on instead of implementing any meaningful change
Has it gotten so bad that it would be preferable for everyone to go full generic conspiratard and refer to everything that holds sway in the world as "The System"?

I wasnt the one who talked about how great the cops who roughed me up were and how I didn't bother to seek any resolution for their fuck up. This whole time you pretty much defended them with "eh, it happens". Which is pretty pathetic.

Sounds like defending to me.

If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck then you're a simp for cops
-some chink no one cares about.
You must be thinking of someone else. Feel free to re-read what I actually wrote, since I'm sure I never referred to any cops as great in any way. Cops fuck up, and you are better off not taking it personally. It's best to be polite and friendly, and if worst comes to worst, you don't get killed, and anything less than that they have a lot of explaining away to do being chummy with you and taking you out of handcuffs. IT fucks their entire testimony. I've been in a courtroom. I'd rather win there than tilt at windmills with some rando cop of dubious character.

And yep, still be polite and friendly if you take a couple of punches. It's not the end of the world, and there are WAYYYYY bigger issues than how an arresting officer treats you if you get charged with a serious crime.

Translation:
They got the wrong address, assaulted me, handcuffed me, and knee'ed my back and never held accountable because i just rolled over and took it like the bitch I am.

Now i defend them on the internet saying they were good boys who didn't know any better.

Maybe you enjoy an unaccountable police state but it's not for everyone and definitely not something i want normalized.

You know what’s more bothersome than say, cops who abuse their authority and make their precinct look bad?

Actual race-baiters who used to be “gangster rappers” now turned family friendly actors.

Braindead blue checkmarks should start by not sharing fake news. Only then will I take them seriously. (maybe)

This is why I'm sperging out about this.

You should stop. The reductionist bullshit on both sides of the spectrum doesn't actually lead anywhere useful;

>"All cops are scum, killem all!"
>"Just world.txt, thin blue line!"

Neither can lead to a meaningful discussion, much less action, on reform in policing. The situation, like almost everything, is more complex that that. Cops won't be open to discussing reform if they think it's just for leverage to fire them, or if you're trying to pin departmental level policy decisions on them.

If you want to have a discussion about the training, the protocols, and the policies then we can do that. Nobody is going to take you seriously though if your first instinct is to demand the execution of cops working crowd control.

You should stop.
You should take your own advice.

You justified the guy being killed by the cops because bystanders said mean words.

Don't suddenly try to take the high road by claiming both sides just need to come together peacefully when you originally were justifying this police brutality.

Seriously listen to yourself. One side says "wow, cops really shouldn't be killing people and we should not normalize this behavior" while you and your merry band of bootlickers justify because "those bystanders were yelling".

Lol seriously, cops don't want to discuss reform if it might get them fired? When one of those reforms is to stop killing people. Such a huge impossible reform to achieve, how dare the citizens request such a thing.

Perhaps if a mob of joggers weren't baying for cop blood ten feet away they would have been able to proceed without waiting for backup.
I just really want to emphasize the stupidity pf this. It's the victim and bystanders fault for lying and standing respectively there while the cop with a knee on a throat for 7 mins is clean because he couldn't stand a heckling.

Goddamn what a boot licking faggot you are.

It's the victim and bystanders fault

Yes.

They do have agency and we have to consider the consequences of their actions. Pretty racist of you to presume that certain races can't be held responsible for their choices.

If he couldn't survive resisting arrest maybe he shouldn't have fought the cops.

"Cops should kill all them niggas" on the right, "Cops shouldn't kill any niggas" on the left. You're both delusional, cops should kill half them niggas.
Only a mighty superman can resist the urge to kill a prone handcuffed man on the ground. Why should we expect our cops to such a high and lofty goal? Didn't the guy on the ground know he only brought this on himself.

Dumbest take yet.

Just like the guy who was swatted and shot in the back on the ground. How dare he lay on the ground all menacingly like.

Can't imagine simping for cops this hard.
