Trump HAS SIGNED Executive Order after Twitter fact-checks his tweet - How fucked are social media corporations for fucking with the First Amendment?

Is this a win for Freedom of Speech?

What could the President have in store for Twitter and others with this Executive Order?

Will Twitter comply? Will the Supreme Court slam dunk this outta law? Will Trump wrestle wrestle Jack Dorsey in Knoxville?

Find out tomorrow!

I wish the government didn't exist but as long as they do exist they may as well do something good for once in a lifetime and stop corporate censorship. these corporations are bigger than most governments and they should be forced to follow the constitution and respect people's God given rights to say the N-word on the internet.
What's considered "social media"? Would KF fit into that definition?
whichever jannie banned tuscangarder for his communist beliefs, or ever banned or deleted the posts of anyone else on KF should be hung for treason.

Knowing Trump it's probably some aggrandizing bullshit "outlawing" social media "lying" about how the government is handling the yellow flu

I don't think so this whole thing has come from a tweet he posted about the corruption involved with using mail-in ballots.

But who knows there is literally zero information on what the details of this EO will be.

Censorship and "fact checking" should result in losing safe harbor protections. If you are saying what you categorically won't allow a certain non-illegal opinion on the site, then you are implicitly approving all the rest you leave alone; and thus should be held liable for such postings.

Twitter is Trump's sanctuary. They violated his sanctuary, so they get it.

This is for him and only him. He's not thinking about anybody else.

People, however, seem to forget the good ol’ saying of “What goes around, comes back around.”

Even if Trump were to stop using Twitter altogether, the site would have still turned into Tumblr 2.0. If anything, the “fact checkers” are possibly engaging in collusion with Washington, D.C.’s elite.

Plus K-pop stans are more villainous than Trump calling Joe Scarborough a psychopath

Only took him a year to stop monitoring the situation, too bad it's far too late for these to be properly implemented for november.
It's really cool he waited over a year when he signed the campus freedom of speech executive order over a year ago too. Totally not senile when he waits far past the point of relevance to him.

May Allah bring death to those who insult Korean boy bands.

There was a court case that ruled Trump couldn't block people from his personal twitter because of journalism or something like that. But the idea was that having access to his twitter feed was important for the health of the nation.
So I think it would stand that a private corporation denying people access to his twitter feed or the forum being used for communication would also be bad for the health of the nation.
