I remember Fergerson feeling more intense, and that was a case where the original case was more debatable on if the level of force was acceptable or not. Maybe that was more due to the shock of it all and happening under Obama ect.

I also remember the response to the protests ended up kind of fueling the fire for several days, The police brought out tear gas ect when it was more peaceful and that just kept making things worse by trying to stop the protest. So I wonder if the move to step back is because they know reacting is a lose-lose at this point. You go in and protesters have a new toy to play with, or bring the heavy duty stuff and look worse than you already did in the eyes of Joe Public.

That said, can Target, Aldi and the other places effectively sue the force for letting their businesses get looted and razed? Or is it just tough luck for anyone who got targeted?
The businesses very likely have insurance, but I would say if I ever owned one of those places and this happened..i would never rebuild.

Don't worry they'll run out of things to burn and they'll tire themselves out.

The aforementioned shots fired cleared everybody out. Things look like they're calming down.

Be fortunate they weren't there in the outbreak.

Looks like she relocated to a safer part of the city after the teargas incident. Stream is ending as she had to move.

Hope she gets out safely. That's enough for today.

Great work everybody.

The gloomtube stream is still going on without her. Will edit in a link if you want, just figured it's probably already been posted here.

Either way, "whitey" is involved. Key word, ELITE.

There's a post somewhere here that explains that Republicans were passive with said laws. So it takes two to tango.

I love how you popped up when said topic was discussed.

Nobody has to play the "blame whitey" card when the enemy is correctly identified as the elite, whose whiteness is incidental. There is no dilemma; you were posting like the guy you were quoting was being contradictory when they were not.

Of course the Republicans were passive. Reconstruction was resisted at every turn because Lincoln died and it was turned from reconciliation into revenge. Before the Civil Rights Act, it was impossible to conceive of some judge getting to just overwrite laws by judicial fiat on a regular basis. Please explain what, exactly, were Republicans supposed to do?

They can't sue because the police have no obligation to prevent every crime. Zero tolerance is exactly how you end up with more criminals dying in the streets

They could try. Best thing they could do is collect on the insurance. As for the minimal workers, they're out of a job currently.

Passive meaning accepting said practices as the status quo.

Personal responsibility needs to be taken on the state of the Black community currently. While I'm saying the American government plays a role into that, ultimately we have free will to make better choices within ourselves.

I consider myself a centrist (center-left) but even I cannot deny the current state of the Democratic Party.

Shit, with this going on a lawyer could basically say that the 4 cops can't get a fair trial because any other verdict than guilty will cause more riots. They can even argue that they can't get fair sentencing or there will be riots and the jurors will be in danger if they hand down anything other than a guilty verdict.

They wanted justice for this guy and now they might get jack and shit.

They hold the trial a state over and do some really thorough vetting to try to find jurors that haven't been prejudiced. The legal system has dealt with this before; the Timothy McVeigh trial got moved from OKC to Denver.

You have to understand before the World Wars, federal power over the states was not as robust. Further, before the Civil Rights Act, Republicans didn't really get elected much in the Jim Crow states.

So, without federally-backed judicial fiat, and without the ability to get elected, they couldn't really do anything even if they wanted to.

Young people are entitled. The fault is that they were raised with instant gratification in mind. Generally, not everybody.

With the black community, from slavery, Jim Crow, gerrymandering, there's a victim complex from within. The older generation protested, fought, stood their ground to combat racial inequality. They've earned their status to be peeved at how messed up the next generation is.

Now THIS sounds like a "blame whitey" post. I hate to play that card, but partly it IS. You mentioned the leftist white controlling the ignorant Black as a slave. Yet it's discouraged to play the "blame Whitey" card. Which is it?

There's still racial injustice in the United States, like this for instance, but we've cried wolf so many times over insignificant things, it's meaningless now.

And the whole "leaving the planation" shtick from being Democrat to Republican, you just switched planations. Both sides made laws to keep the Black man struggling, which we do it to ourselves with the crabs in the bucket mentality.

They're the ones fixated on "white and black".
I'm making a point that these dumb niggers are doing what their white puppet masters have told them to do, once again. I'd feel the same way if it was men vs women, Koreans vs Japs, Hong Kongers vs Mainlanders etc.
If you're oppressed by someone, why do exactly what they expect of you? It's mostly white leftist liberals that promote and stoke the whole race issue. So why do what they want you to do?

If they're not and this is their own will, then they're genetically retarded and deserve to be bottom feeders.

The plantation schtick isn't partisan - it isn't about who they vote for, it's their behaviour. They're not in control of their behaviour, their communities, their futures, nothing. They believe Wakanda is something they would have had if it wasn't for *insert grievance*. They're on the plantation of being a slave to the notion that niggers are inherently stupid, incapable and primitive. They either get off that plantation or they can continue to be this level of pavement ape forever. It's their choice.

Either way, if someone dies, that doesn't entitle you to rob stores that have fuck all to do with your cause. What is it that white leftists like to say... We Must Do Better? Perhaps niggers should do better, too.

So, will the added twist of there being a pandemic add anything to this mess? They're seem to be effectively looting and burning down any place that sells food, and I wouldn't be surprised if surrounding stores don't either hustle down or go full roof korean.

Quick point I want to make. The reason why Blacks are hardline with the Democratic Party is because of Dr. King's push to elect Johnson over Goldwater. Goldwater was hard on states rights, which included segeration.

Mind you, King was bipartisan in politics. He praised Nixon a couple times.

What is it that white leftists like to say... We Must Do Better? Perhaps niggas should do better, too.
I can't fix the Black community. But I can work on bettering MYSELF. That's all I can do.

I don't want the burden of the 13/50% or single parent households to fall on my shoulders because of my race.

Oh I promise any mom and pop store that wasn't a restaurant is done and even those that are and could stay open probably weren't doing better.
I have doubts if that Wendy's is coming back.

That cop should probably go ahead and neck himself. He has to be convicted now. There won't be a fair trial. There will be a swift process to convict in order to placate the masses. (Although, personally, it looks like he is guilty as sin and should be convicted, so I'm not shedding any tears for him.) Cops don't fare well in prison. And a cop who killed a black man is going to be a trophy that many prisoners can't resist bagging. Dude is fucked.

He'll be on his knees to Big Bob after a couple days in the showers.

:optimistic: to the point of fantasy, but imagine two weeks from now these looters are on the news begging for food, that shit would make my fucking day.

Sure they can drive to the next town over but if their cars are fucked that's too bad, they burned down the Autozone!

Don't they typically put high profile prisoners in solitary?
