U.S. Riots of May 2020 over George Floyd and others - ITT: a bunch of faggots butthurt about worthless internet stickers

Reminder that this all started over ten bucks.

Floyd supposedly paid with a fake ten-dollar bill at some Chinese restaurant, the cops were called, Floyd was subdued, and handcuffed, one of the cops decided to slowly kill him in front of witnesses telling him to stop, and in front of other officers who did nothing, the cops then lied about what happened on the police report, the actual footage got leaked, and now the entire city is burning.

All over a fake ten-dollar bill.
Uncle Sam wants his money.

A black person's life was worth $10. Let that sink in.

How much of this will spill over into other states? I already saw a riot being planned in Oakland for tomorrow night.
I was just enjoying myself about how far away it is and now 😧
The majority of the media is on the side of the rioters, what 1990s logic are you using? They not even covering it and at this point, will hide any discussion of any problems in minority communities.
what are you talking about? It’s the front page of every news site

I don't agree with the riots, and I don't care about the race-angle, but if that man doesn't face charges, I don't blame them for burning that city down.

If that asshole doesn't end up dying in jail then *AND* those other officers ever work in any law enforcement capacity ever again I support them burning the entire state to the ground. The whole situation makes me not just mad at the internet but furious at the internet.

I am however curious on why they like to burn auto part stores so much.

THE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE COMPARING THIS TO THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION PISSES ME OFF like at least if it was to boot out the cops and make your own militia would be a better comparison.

Of course then they'll compare the "peaceful protests" to the "armed terrorists" protesting in Michigan and then I'll just die inside.
What the Boston Tea Party had, that the Minnesota Riots do not:
  • Actual leadership. The Sons of Liberty was an organization created to go against the unfair taxation and laws under the British government. Famous members included Samuel Adams and Paul Revere
  • No property damage besides the ships full of tea
  • No deaths
  • No hostages
  • There were other peaceful protests that followed, such as the way people protested the Stamp Act (for instance, making fake stamps or refusing to stamp any documents)
Another interesting tidbit is that not all the Founding Fathers were in favor of the methods used during the Boston Tea Party. One of them was John Adams.

If the Minnesota Riots were as peaceful as the Boston Tea Party, this thread wouldn’t be that active.

What is the purpose of destroying your own community in response to these cases again?

They're not supposed to. Every time it happens black leaders think it won't negatively impact black communities, that it will only hit the white neighborhoods and businesses. Back after the cop who killed Mike Brown was acquitted, his mother and father said to burn Ferguson to the ground, but "don't hit black businesses". Of course, hood rats just want ot hood rat, and they don't give a shit for anything but themselves so they just destroy everything. Small businesses never came back to Ferguson, and while Starbucks and what-not did, the city didn't have the huge economic boom they hoped for because of the chimp out.

After the dealing with verizon's bullshit a few days ago, i'm sadly super happy that store got smashed in. they don't do anything but curbside pickup and all the employees working have that snarky "fuck off it's company policy" going on. watched a number older people get told to leave becasuse no one is going to help them set up their new phone or whatever.
Verizon has the strongest 4g newtwork by far, so they use that to push around their customers. They have no regard for customer service whatsoever. They work like a cable company, as they offer service where most areas don’t.
