the store owners on the other hand are easily tracked and found because, well, their stores are publically registered businesses.

I was thinking in a similar vein. I haven’t witnessed any good ever come from rioting in the US (other than getting some free J’s), but would love to be educated otherwise.

Violent protests can only work if there’s a purpose to them, a goal. Those dumbass ghetto riots never have any purpose other than to allow wannabe gangstas to trash their city and claim the moral high ground. The most that will ever come off this are some empty promises that will soon be forgotten and never come to fruition, and of course a slew of criminal records and a trashed neighborhood that will scare away normal people and worsen an already shitty situation.
