And the implication is that all it takes is one person to throw a brick through a window and suddenly they can't help but follow suit. Are they really saying that they have such a loose grip on civilized behavior?

KHOU 11 just really abruptly cut to live video of a what I assume will be be a press statement from governor? Hosts were in the middle of chatter so that was kinda weird.
 
A riot like this is absolutely going to destroy the city.
Businesses won't be coming back, people that can afford to move out will.

Same shit happened in Washington D.C. in the 60s, MLK Jr. got shot, people mass rioted, and the whites and rich and middle class blacks moved the fuck out. Took nearly half a century for large parts of the city to recover at all.
