I've worked at a retailer that was broken into before about six months ago. They stole every iPhone in our building which amounted to something like $30,000 worth of product and also broke one of our shutter doors on the outside of the building after prying it open with a crowbar. They literally only took the iphones and ignored all the thousands of dollars worth of laptops and everything else we had. The door and shit, the actual building stuff gets insured but the product is just gone, and the company had to pull from the whole district's budget to cover the loss, because that kind of hit on a single store is enough to cost some jobs. Stuff that walks out the door without being paid for isn't insured. It's considered what we call "shrink", which every store has a certain amount they can budget for each month as basically just a cost of doing business, because it's expected some exceptional individuals are gonna try and pocket some earbuds a few times, and it also accounts for other stuff like administrative errors, tills that miscounted, etc. For us, having a shrink rate of about 0.3 percent or less versus the value of actual inventory was a pretty good month.

I dunno how Target handles stuff like theft but I can't imagine it's too different, but this isn't a few grand, it's probably millions in damages and losses, probably a few hundred grand worth of lost product. I'm not sure what kind of revenue the average Target makes but I'm sure it's probably a few months worth of lost budgets. There's very little chance that store will come back even if it wanted to for some reason.

Posting anything Critical about the Chinese government online leads to arrest. Looking at the covid response, people have had their doors welded shut inside their homes and left to die. Rioting puts eyes on China and makes the government look bad in hopes that some one China two system policy can still exist. If people don't riot, the government will do whatever it and nobody hears about the issues.

With police incidents like Floyd happen in the US, the government, people, and police all renounce it. Peaceful protest would be more effective and moral. Violence is largely ineffective, increases racial tension, and denies liberty to store owners and whomever else is harmed in the mobs.

You do know that the people rioting in the US right now at th moment thinks that th Gov is silencing them and only rioting allows theirvoicr to be heard too right, yet you are opposing the us riot?
Also, it would be great to show any evidence that support your claim of Gov supporting hk polices using real bullets or running over people, hell show me evidence of them shooting people with real bullets or running over people.
