Well, I live 100 miles away from all of the shit in MPLS, and they closed down alot of the big box stores for the weekend in fear of the rioting going viral here. I thought I lived out in the sticks, but it looks increasingly like the city and all of it's problems are inching closer.

So I am hearing rumors the Pentagon just issued a warning order that the President is considering invoking the Insurrectuon act and that the Army units positioned to respond should prepare to deploy. It honestly would not surprise me if true.

lol if that's true, we've moved from category 3 to category 4. The invocation of the insurrection act basically discards the normal rules laid out by posse comitatus which prevents most active-duty forces from acting on US soil in a law enforcement capacity. Active duty and national guard are worlds apart in terms of training, equipment, and just general behavior.
