They'll allow this to happen over the weekend and into next week; the governor said as much.

I'm not gonna be catching back up for the night, but I just have to say that I got a confession to make. Last Friday night for family prayer, I thanked God for making the enemy of the people ridiculous that week (e.g. Biden's antics and the like) and asked to further continue making them ridiculous by shedding light on their wrongdoings so people could wake up and take a look around them to see what has happened to their freedoms and livelihoods. I couldn't keep my religious faggotry spaghetti in my pockets. I mean, what can one prayer do, really?

Just had to get that off my chest. Totally looking forward to reading 100 new pages in the morning.

High rises are designed to be fire resistant, essentially because it's so hard to get people out a fire has to take a long time to get going in order to not have residents and tenants regularly dying. The load-bearing members are concrete or fire-resistant treated steel, there are fire doors/walls/floors to stop the spread in the interior, etc.

To take it out you'd have to go floor-by-floor up the stairwell, force open the fire doors, and probably force open a bunch of interior doors too. You'd basically gut everything flammable inside the building and still have it up, torching the shit out of the interior but keeping it basically OK.

Anything over 5 floors at the most has a thorough anti-fire design element. 4-5 floors is about where the planners relent and let you spam cheaper stuff that still burns relatively slowly but will still get a good structure fire going. Even then the bottom is concrete and/or steel, they only allow for 3 or more recently 4 floors on top of a more permanent base floor (1+3 or 1+4)
