So, earlier tonight the Mayor of Portland posted on Twitter that he was out of town but what was going on is unacceptable.

So I've only kept loose tabs on this. Is there a reason why people are still enabling these 'protests' when they're clearly riots? Is there a reason why they're not being put down "Gangs of New York" style?

Also, what's the end goal? I wonder this because my mother in law has a friend who's also a teacher. She's all for this shit. Her FB is full of shit like "Go and vent your frustrations!" and "Be sure to bring your anger when you march!".

I can only assume she wants to see black people murdered. Nobody is going to sympathize with the rioters. They're destroying so much and inflicting too much damage for your average American to say "They're fighting the good fight". They won't see any positive reforms or change from these actions. She has no problem comparing this directly to the American Revolution. Is that what they're calling for? A racially motivated revolution?

That will only end one way. I can't see why anyone would support that unless they want to see blacks gunned down in the streets. People will demand revenge for these acts and the spiral will continue, and the enablers will still sit back on their social media calling for more.
