There's a couple of malls and a lot of businesses in Center City. If there's looting, those are probably getting hit first. Somewhat west of where these protesters are is Rittenhouse Square, home to a lot of rich people. If the cops are going to start busting heads, it's going to be when the protesters get near there. Or, if they head east, they get into Old City, where more rich people live and many of the tourist attractions are, like the Constitution and the Liberty Bell. I can't imagine the cops letting protesters staring wrecking that shit. North Philly is full of poor black people, so that might get wrecked. South Philly has some mobbed up Italians who are severely nostalgic for Frank Rizzo, so I expect some pushback from local residents. West Philly has poor black people as well, but it also has Drexel and University of Pennsylvania, so I'm hoping they're not targets for rioters. It also has Children's Hospital, which I dearly hope no one will mess with. Are the risk of powerleveling, I live near here. While Philly is kind of a dump, it's my dump and there are many local businesses I've fond of. I hope they all make it through the night.

Just remember .22 kills more people than any other caliber every year. It's not ideal, but they definitely will kill with proper aim, which fortunately is easy with .22 thanks to the low recoil. Highly recommend getting something a bit better suited for self defense however.

It's a classic .22 pump action rifle. Real small but that makes it very maneuverable. What matters to me most is that it makes enough noise to scare off any coons.

I've given up on this country, for real. I know things have been retarded for a long while but this, this takes the cake. The entire goddamn cake. The utter madness on display is something I never thought I'd witness on the continent I call home during my lifetime.

Maybe a lot of it is a result of the lockdowns so people are just more insane than usual, but even still. I just feel empty inside witnessing what is happening as we speak.

Remember: America is big. Non city kiwis are reporting that jack all is happening, and even people who live closer to the city in suburban areas don't see anyone fighting each other. It sucks, but these happen once every decade, and we will get through this one as we always do. The perps may never be brought to justice for burning cities down, but there still will be people supporting those who lost everything. It won't change the relationship between white me and my black ex coworkers, it won't change the relationship mixed families have with each other. It's dark, grim, and horrifying, but it will pass.
