Only NYPD and criminals can have guns in NYC. And supposedly an under 4inch knife that isn't a gravity knife is legal but you'll probably get arrested for that too.

In terms of what’s happening at the White House right now, the timing for mass protests couldn’t be more perfect. They’re doing a big construction project on the White House fence, so the entire street is shut down. Normally you can walk up to within five feet of the fence, but there’s been a 25 yard no mans land between Lafayette Square park and the fence for the past couple of months for extra security during the project and construction staging. It essentially doubles the distance between people and the White House itself with a big fence at the halfway point.

I’m tempted to head down there while it’s still daylight to see what’s happening today, but I don’t want to either get hurt, get coofed on, or get scooped up in some mass arrest if things go really pear shaped.

couple more clownish things:
- George Floyd was a pornstar
- George Floyd was probably on crack when it happened and died of a crack related heart attack (not strangled)
- George Floyd was a multiple felon who was arrested for forgery and suspected DUI
- The media, twitter, reddit, and MN government are blaming all the damage and looting on literal white supremacist groups
- People think the "child looking" National Guard are boys, but they're actually just of women (yay diversity)
- The "right" is agreeing with the left about everything and how racist white people are

From my understanding, and I might be wrong, the mayor said "out of area" meaning simply not from Minneapolis (could be from St Paul or some other local city,) while the governor said "out of state." Though neither seem to be accurate.

Edit: Or maybe I have that backwards.
