Across from the alamo there's a thing called the cenotaph the city wants to remove. Protestors that want it to stay have been showing up there, armed for literally the past year and they're there today.

So ain't shit getting out of control near the alamo.

Also the cenotaph was recently vandalized. So police and these protestors have been eyeballing it closer.

Thankfully I didn't have to get near this shitshow but I dropped my boyfriend off at work about an hour and a half ago and saw some protesters wandering around. Mostly white and very young. Carrying shitty cardboard signs but not holding them up or anything. Just a mess of groups of 5-6 people walking into traffic in the parking lot of my boyfriend's workplace. 0/10, was not inspired to riot.
