THEY'RE BEATING PEOPLE
im going to be sick

The NG will likely have Minneapolis under control, the action will probably be in other cities. Chances are it's not going to be Minneapoilis 2.0 in every decent=sized town with a riot, but I'm predicting at least one (Atlanta?) will get pretty serious.

Portland could be one to watch. I guess it depends on whether there's enough nutritional value in soy to give those crazy white kiddies from last night a second wind. I guess I'm just hoping for CuckBot Sperg 2: Electric Boogaloo.

People are outraged that Donald Trump made a comment about shooting looters.

Yet they are destroying unwarrented property, putting lives in danger and causing businesses to close. They would kill innocents without question if allowed to.

Am I missing something?

An eye for an eye and all that shit. We've tried to handle this non lethally. But to no avail. And again, they are being self destructive to innocent people.

Now, I suppose the concern is with peaceful protesters being shot and killed because if APPEARING threatening or violating curfew. That's the defense I see with that.

America does have a trigger happy police force. There has to be a balance for this before it gets out of control.

I'd lay odds on Philly tbh.

lol, how? The Guard have been ordered by their commanders and the governor to not do anything except stand around and look tough. They don't have Ammo in their rifles, and the gun mounts on their humvees are conspicuously lacking in guns. What is the guard gonna do to stop the rioters and looters burning down peoples property. Ask nicely? It is more likely to have one of those 5'3" tall women with no magazines get grabbed by the mob, raped and murdered then it is for them to actually do something active to stop the riot.

"That was fun and all, but for real when is public works going to get around to rebuilding this" is the general response I'm waiting for after all of this.

But you wanted to be "The Bat"
I vote for all identified protesters to be forced to do community service in rebuilding what they destroyed.

Detroit marchers increasing in number as they head back towards downtown. [ETA: Another twitter guy says "Couple hundred strong now."]

Protests in Ann Arbor and Kalamazoo appear to have concluded without anything noteworthy happening. My mistake.
One protest in Kalamazoo did disperse, but there are others planned for later, and the article about Ann Arbor implies that they're all still hanging around.

I attended the BLM protest in Providence, and it was quite peaceful. High energy, hundreds of people, but most people there understood that burning their local buildings down is only going to make things worse. The police were off to the side, moreso as security then blockading. I'm unaware of the current situation in Providence now, but from what I saw, everything was peaceful and there was no encounters in the crowd. It should be an example to the other protests across the country.
I wish more attention was given to THOSE protests. Let peaceful protesters know that they're doing the right thing.

Is anything even happening in Atlanta today? I haven't heard anything.

Out of curiosity, how many people are actually supporting the riots irl and how many are against them? Because everyone online seems to be up in arms about it while most everyone irl seems to be against them.
The riots are deplorable.

But the news magnifies how many of the protesters are rioters. Most of the people out there are expressing the right to protest and doing so safely and mostly respectfully, with some profanity. That is fine. I think it is beautiful.

Looting? Riots? Start with rubber bullets and work your way up.
