I-90 westbound is closed at I-271 and SR-2 is closed in the city of Willowick, both of which are well outside downtown Cleveland. Ostensibly to keep people going into downtown. But yes, I would somewhat agree with regards to some of these cities, with the caveat that burning buildings doesn't "cleanse" anything. The buildings dindu nuffin, and some are actually quite nice. It's the people (some more than others) that would have to be dealt with (in Minecraft).

Well, sure, but obviously their mode of existence is contingent on the existence of that infrastructure. Nothing could be more fitting than for these people to burn down everything that allows their grotesque existence to continue. As far as I can tell, it will have to happen one way or another in any case, but I must admit a personal bias towards the ironic case.
