The governor went ahead and issued a state of emergency and told the staties and national guard to use whatever equipment they need to support the local leos. DOes that mean the National Guard are going to use force to disperse the crowds? who knows.

Ferguson is looking like it's going to be lit up again but it's just a tiny crowd so far. looks like a lot of people went home after the peaceful demonstrations started getting violent. the County Exec who oversees ferguson is a huge liberal dictator who took a gym to court for defying his lockdown order. He's a temp leader who took over after the previous guy got jailed for bribery. He's hugely unpopular with every demographic because everyone lost their jobs so it's not obvious if he's going to do the "these people are hurting" song and dance or if he's going to call in the NG.

It all depends on the terrain, where you are stuck by body and tire, speed, and probably more. But I've seen this happen in real life with a truck, a jeep, a quad, and a couple times with a dirtbike. Worst injury of my idiot group of friend was a couple of minor fracture and some deep bruising. But this was drunken and stoned guys partying in the woods. Soft soil, but not always low speeds. One guy didnt even get fazed by slipping under the jeep and getting his leg ran over, but he had a good bruise the next day.

It's also too innately southern in it's own way. Sure there's crime but it mainly happens because you personally fucked with someone.
