How do you think a riot starts? I mean, I know it's Salt Lake, but being white and safe under normal conditions has not prevented Pacific Northwest and Midwest cities from rioting. Anyone at any of the protests in major cities at this point should be expecting that a riot very well may ensue (and/or, in places like NYC, that police will come down hard). Either way, not a place to be unless you are physically prepared to be in that kind of situation.

I would argue it only would work if there is a generally speaking the government or leaders in charge, the ethnic group they come from have a high ingroup bias. The Chinese Han have a high in group biases, they will not give two fucks if they killed a wild pack of niggers and then go soundly to sleep as they would think that we kept our children safe. Or in other word, better their kids over mine get fucked. Generally speaking homogeneous countries also deal with riots faster if there is a clear cultural difference like what Saddam did with the kurds.
