One thing I found striking about the post-American Revolutionary War was that they made a point of having orderly political processions after the war to deliberately contrast the revolutionary mobs.

While they didn't regret the violence of the revolutionary era, once they had better means to legally change their state of affairs, they wanted to do so peacefully. Patrick Henry even said as much when he registered his misgivings with the new Constitution, being willing to accept it was the law of the land with "It is adopted, let us try it."

Even now, there is a more peaceful option to rioting and mob violence, but those who are unwilling to realize their ignorance of this until they are on the receiving end would likely disturb those who had actual reasons to despair of actual legal recourse, as those who advocated violent resistance because they had no legal recourse knew that it needed to end once the legal recourse was established.

The world always cares about the internal strife of the resident #1 power. The fact that it's often necessary for them to do so fuels a seething inferiority complex in countries that recently occupied that spot, such as most of Western Europe.

This is insane that there even is a BLM in the UK. Don't waste the opportunity to ride on the waves of the US riots to push your SJW agenda.

Hopefully we won't have riots like we had in London about 10 years ago when the police did literally nothing.

If it helps, I am invested because I see the USA as a beacon of freedom and Western Culture - I also have family who live in Denver, Colorado.

Responding to your first thought, I have been browsing Twitter and I see a lot of "Antifa is looting, the BLM dudes just want peaceful protest" I have posted contrary posts to one person and said it's not just about colour and I got my first introduction to what I imagine is something people call "Black Twitter"?
TMI: I said the rioters were animals [I didn't think FFS] I didn't fair well!

Blacks have always rioted. Whites have always deluded themselves into believing blacks will behave if you give in to their demands.

Nothing about this is a reflection of modern America or a decline in society. All societies throughout history have had to deal with this kind of shit. Grab a beer, sit back and enjoy the fireworks like the rest of us.

True, but this feels like blatant manipulation as it hooks onto outsiders having no idea what’s going on and sharing the baseless lies.

Of course, Trump could do 7D chess move by ordering the Insurrection Act to mow down the rioters, let the media cry about all the black peoples he had killed, then comment that the media has told everyone that these were actually white supremacists and he was merely cleansing the threat from the business owners with the promise of reimbursing them.
