Went outside to see if the mall was burnt down yet, and if it wasn't, purchase a soda.

Both ways I saw multiple BLM protesters, including a family with their 3 kids walking towards the mall, and lots of people filming, even though nothing's happened and the protests haven't started yet.

The mall was closed and surrounded by police.

Shit's gonna go down tonight and everyone knows it.

I do still watch a few modern movies but the number gets less and less as time goes by, I skipped Star Wars Episode 9 entirely.

And there's almost no modern books I give a shit about since the vast majority of them are woke.

I already consume a lot of old media, it's just a question of whether to tip that scale entirely in favor of the old, but I feel like at least Japan will continue to put out worthwhile stuff.

I cannot watch any of the 90s cartoons either. having super girl (a women) be as strong as super man. it's just as uncomfy for me. They're marginalizing femininity and telling women to hate being women. Ultimately we need to fight to make a safe space where we are comfy. The more tolerant we are, the more they make us uncomfy.

I'm pretty sure this has been said before, but if Dr. King could see what's happening in Current Year he wouldn't have bothered leading the civil rights movement. All that hard work has been squandered and purposefully misquote him so they can wreck their own neighborhoods and cities and bitch about how THEY'RE the real victims.

1. The "race wars" were based on communism keeping oil and water in suspension. It's exactly the same thing as Balkans. Some groups of people just can't get along together and when that force (central authority) collapses, they revert to separate entities. This is somewhat similar to US situation is that some groups just don't want to be together and when the force that keeps them like that weakens, inevitable will happen. There are talks about balcanisation of US, but the main issue is that Democrats controlled strongholds are not isolated and this geo intermixing makes balkanization rather difficult.

2. A lot of genocidal shit happened because of the unique "Russian" identity. Lots of imports who never wanted to learn local language/customs and were in fact powerbase support for the Moscow's rule. A lot of areas in Baltics, Ukraine, Caucus were emptied and imported Russians took their place. In Georgia and few other places, Russian speaking pop was armed with rebars on few occasions to keep peace and locals under control.

In addition, Russian was the imperial ethnicity and language. Everything else was ridiculed and put down. That shit was tolerated as far as Moscow held the grip on local police. Other nationalities were fine. For example Sashko Bily, a Ukrainian, was a national hero in Chechnya, streets were named after him for his effort to fight Russian control, same shit that happened in his homeland. A lot of Georgians supported Ukraine's attempt to distance themselves from Russia because of the Abkhasian war that was essentially Russian intervention into Georgia. A lot of former soviet republics simply don't like Russia.

3. Putin gained support largely due to high oil prices, FSB bombed few Russian places as "terrorists". The only way he keeps peace in Chechnya is by paying ridiculous amount of money to Kadirov who in turn keeps other clans in check and glorifies Putin. If/when money dry up all bets are off. Keep in mind that Kadirov has no love for Russia or Putin, in his own words, "I killed my first Russian when I was 16"
