I get that he did paid work for WarCampaign. But I'm wondering how much of the work he did for Ethan was paid and whether he's taking a side in all this.

Narwhal and Adam Post seem to be distancing themselves from WC and supporting Ethan. It's interesting to see 3D Robin taking a different route. I wonder if he's still good with Ethan.

Other than the fact that he is done with Ro and Pan, Ethan claimed he was fine with anyone calling themselves WC, no ill will, etc. Swear I saw or heard that. We shall see how long that lasts, since he couldn't even go two hours with his "I'm only streaming by myself proclamation."

Cecil and Malin certainly both have sticks up their ass about WC, possibly with good reason, dunno. Could see them being an influence.

Ethan is doing his best to destroy WarCampaign. That's why he started calling them #WasCampaign. Ro and Pan are the core of WC. Beyond them is another layer of assholes like Gat and Man of Sex then another layer of dedicated trolls, then less dedicated trolls, then supporters and finally casual fans. Ethan wants all of them on his side without the core. This would effectively destroy WarCampaign so Ethan can reabsorb them into his fanbase. He doesn't want to lose the people. He wants to destroy the organisation and keep the people.

Ethan's not saying that he wants all the WC people to leave WC. But what Ethan says and the truth are often at odds. Ethan also said he wanted the best for TenNaple and Miller when they left but also said the were betraying lying snakes and continued to spread rumors to destroy their business. "I love Doug, is EWJ anti-Gay?" "I just wanna help Mike's family by spreading rumors of 'financial misdealings' and leading brigades against his channel." When Ethan expresses 'good will' toward people he parts ways with it's usually disingenuous bullshit.

I don't see any reason to think this is any different. Last week Ro and Pan were Ethan's most trusted "never wrong" council but this week they are evil untrustworthy snakes. Ro and Pan are in the same boat as everyone else Ethan has excommunicated only this time instead of spreading false rumors about them Ethan need only reveal the truth he's known about them and suppressed for a very long time.

I don't think WarCampaign can survive at this point regardless of what they have to reveal but that makes it no less compelling. They are predictably losing the war for hearts and minds but WarCampaign still has the nuclear option. Mutually Assured Destruction. At this point the best they can do is try to take Ethan down with them. That was always their ace in the hole.

It should be interesting to see if it works.

Here's where I think theres some disconnect. Frog said he actually made money once he cut WC. I believe it. I think there are some people who hate WC so much they bought CF as a huge middle finger to Ro and Pan. But, you hear it all the time. It's not the people loudly saying I'm leaving. Its the ones who just walk away. If he loses even ten percent of them, that's a hit.

Blood Honey made $531,521 off of 8,431 backers when it went in demand. Rekt Planet, by comparison, made $849,930 off of 7,191 backers. Lost backers add up quick.

About 1hr 3min. Ethan explains that all the shitty stuff WarCampaign did before was justified. Pushing out TenNaple, Miller, Nerkish, Lim, Nasser and so on was a good thing but it's bad that they started on Malin, Cecil and Anna because it's business and they are good on his show.

All those other people were good on Ethan's show though. The diffeence is that Ethan wanted those others out and he wants to keep his JACK crew in. At least for now. The others were approved excommunications but these latest were unapproved by Caesar.

edit: I still have no idea what the fuck CG jumpstart is for, a few pages of interviews with preview pages for upcoming projects is not worth it (not to mention the shipping fee). All those are already being marketed for free on twitter and youtube.
