I have no sympathy for rioters and looters, but anyone who pretends that the present situation could have happened without the appalling failure of US law enforcement to conduct themselves ethically and competently is in complete denial.

The death of George Floyd was merely an egregious tip of a far larger iceberg of misconduct. Just look at how badly US law enforcement have conducted themselves in the aftermath:

Are you saying that this insurgency has gone on ever since that massive spike in black crime rate after the 60s? Maybe their disproportionate crimerate and the crabs-in-a-bucket mentality isn't just joggers jogging, but a collective low-intensity guerilla war of the kind advocated by Siege, intended to weaken the rest of the country out of spite because it's all built off "stolen land and stolen labour".

That's 5 pages old, bro. It didn't "drive into" anything. They all scattered and the truck stopped (people don't seem to realize it takes a long, long time for those fuckers to stop.) Then, apparently, the mob dragged him from the cabin and attacked him.

Whether or not the dude is ultimately found guilty, he kept the full weight of his knee on Floyd's neck for 3 minutes straight, long after the guy stopped moving. It's all on video. I would struggle to find any scenario in which that can't be summarily condemned, or in which it wouldn't kill a man. I don't think it's virtue signalling to lament a completely unnecessary death.
