Knives don't have the right of way on streets or sidewalks; cars do have it on the streets... and if you want to put your body at risk, more power to you.

Look, if you're that convinced that somehow we're going to find out that Floyd could for whatever ungodly reason only be restrained by a knee to the neck long after he had stopped moving, that's your prerogative. It's possible to draw a reasonable inference that the cop may have genuinely screwed this one up or acted in ill intent from the video we've seen. Yeah we don't know everything that led up to it, but given how much we DO know there really doesn't seem to be much room for additional context to change the nature of this encounter. Making that inference on its own does not reduce the country to third-world shithole status.
