The thing that sticks out to me is the liberal use of the term “boy.” That’s more a thing women do because on average maintaining a sense of youthfulness in some form or another is desirable, so they’ll refer to themselves and their peers as girls even though they’re clearly talking about adults.
Guys however typically want to be viewed as more adult the older they get after they hit their teens, and there’s been so many instances where referring to a dude as “boy” will come off as patronizing at best. The whole cliche of “Are you really going to fight me, boy?” is built around this concept.
It’s the one of the biggest things that stands out to me as a telltale sign of a yaoi LARPer.

Lol this is so funny to read, since I knew a fujoshi who crushed on me hard. She was incredibly open about liking gay couples (exclusively referred to it as 'yaoi' tho) and eventually told me she wanted to turn into a guy called Xyler (mega yikes since POWERLEVEL during that time I was a closet tranny still figuring my dysphoria out POWERLEVEL). She would constantly read bl in class and gush at me about it, too. There are all sorts of obscene things that I witnessed but that would get into tmi territory, on her part. Funky stuff.

People online, people I know personally irl, or even people I'd meet on a night out (pre-corona) that were trenders would always refer to themselves as boys, even if they're 21 or over. Even when I was at school people would start being referred to/referred to themselves as men when we all reached sixth form (so about 16/17 and older). It's so mind blowing to me that anyone over 17/18 still refers to themselves as basically a child.
Meanwhile, I've noticed that actually dysphoric trans guys, who are mid transition or even pre-transition refer to themselves as "men".
Maybe it doesn't mean jackshit, but it's too much of a coincidence to me. Why can't trenders just suck it up like the rest of us and say "men" like grown adults do? It's gotta be the obsession with uwu softboys in yaoi or something, right?
If and when I ever refer to myself as a boy outside of it being a shitty joke, please do not hesitate to shoot me between the fucking eyes.

You see the same language and phrases in yaoi fanfics even when the perspective is supposed to be a normal dude in the 16-25 age range. Because the purpose of the isn’t to realistically capture what men are like or understand how they think, but to fulfill the part of a fantasy that’s 95% projection.
Like people have said before, gay transtrenders are basically yaoi fangirls and cosplayers who decided to cut out the middleman and as result are somehow was more dishonest than the yaoi fan girl predecessors that they often despise.
